Obama never said he would rather be a one term President than give up on his goals.
He said that he would rather be a GREAT one term President than a mediocre two-term President.
He has three years left to achieve that but he needs to stop being a Republican in disguise. There comes a time when you have to just say F U to people and go away. His base is pissed of at him because he continues to pander to the right.
Like for Fuck sakes Barack, these people don't respect you (Wilson incident) they want you to fail (Demints comments) etc etc etc. Even Spector apolgizes to that nutbag Bachmann..I agree with Howard Dean the Dems are softer than cotton candy and they need to stop it.
I support Obama but if he wants to just keep trying to want to work with the Repubs who just keep saying NO to all his agenda than fine go away after one term. Hopefully someone else will come along who won't be that way.

As in Orwell's Animal Farm almost every animal on the farm was literate in some degree. As for the pigs, they could already read and write perfectly. So when the animals asked what was written on the barn the leader Comrade Napolean (a pig) would change the wording to suit his purpose.............
NOV.2009 ..On Tuesday night President Obama is scheduled to give his announcement on his policy with regard to continuation of the war in Afghanistan. In the meantime peace groups assembled before Thanksgiving to give their formal opinions on ending the war. This is one of them:
"It is unlikely that we will soon have another president with the moral and rhetorical force to talk us out of a foolish commitment that cannot be sustained without shame and defeat," writes Garry Wills in The New York Review of Books. "If it costs him his presidency, what other achievement can match it?
During his presidential campaign, Barack Obama said. . he would rather be a one-term president than give up on his goals.. . Here is a goal no other president we can imagine would have a possibility of reaching. Presidents who just kick the can down the road are easy to come by. Lost lives and limbs are not."
Friend of fatherless!
Fountain of happiness!
Lord of the swill-bucket! Oh, how my soul is on
Fire when I gaze at thy
Calm and commanding eye,
Like the sun in the sky,
Comrade Napoleon!

Spectacular Animal Farm analogy, great book too even though I really dislike reading. If Obama wants to salvage any last respect of the American people then the following need to go, and in this order too actually...
1. Nancy Pelosi
2. Harry Reid
3. Timmy Geithner
4. Rahm Emanuel
You can argue about Bernake well actually ya know what fuck it
5. Ben Bernake
That's a good start, can't change everything in one day but if he would implement decent people for these positions it would be a good start, and I mean decent as in human quality and empathy. Decent non power hungry Americans. We need to get rid of the czars too, Van Jones and Cass Sunstein, the czars answer to Obama only, and theres like 40 of em! What the fuck happened to bring on the czars?!?

Didn't Bush have more czars?. When did the word "CZAR" come into being. Wasn't it during the Bush administration. You guys keep going on and on about czars but it started during the Bush wars so why doesn't that make him a Communist.
Home schooled ?
First Czar .......Ivan IV, or “Ivan the Terrible,” about 500 years ago was the first true “tsar,” or Czar from Latin Caesar.............

If those 4 were gone tommorrow, his poll numbers would jump 10 points if not more. Fact
Also, its probably be his best hope at re-election.
