Investigations under Bush and other presidents found that voting fraud is very rare. Historically, no outcome of any major US election has ever been determined by massive fraud. Most frauds are errors by election workers. However several court cases reveal that restrictive voting laws are a bigger problem than virtually non-existing voting fraud. From Sweden, Institute for democracy warns that US is becoming increasingly anti-democratic.

Trump said people who believe his election-fraud theories are STUPID!
BUSINESS INSIDER -
Disgraced former President Donald Trump published a statement Saturday in a bid to push his unfounded election-fraud claims.
"Anybody that doesn't think there wasn't massive election fraud in the 2020 presidential election is either very stupid, or very corrupt!" - trump said in a Saturday Dec 4 statement.
Critics pounced on the error. They said the [dumbass] former president used a double negative and wound up insulting those who espoused his FALSIFIED claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell tweeted,
"I agree with the former President!"

Appeals court rejects Trump's bid to keep January 6 documents hidden from House investigation committee
"The President of the United States and Congress have each made the judgment that access to this subset of presidential communication records is necessary to address a matter of great constitutional moment for the Republic. Former President Trump has given this court no legal reason to cast aside President Biden's assessment of the Executive Branch interests at stake, or to create a separation of powers conflict that the Political Branches have avoided."

This will be appealed again but this time to the Supreme Court which might side with the former president's request to keep all the records confidential

That factual statement by the Judge is where he may lose again even on appeal to SCOTUS.

CNN's Jim Acosta accurately unleashes takedown of Tucker Carlson, Ted Cruz and Fox News
CNN anchor Jim Acosta repeatedly called "b*llshit" on the air Saturday, in a commentary blasting Fox News host Tucker Carlson and his network, as well as frequent guest Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
"It's that time of the year, the days are getting shorter, it's cold outside — it's also when we start looking back at the past year," Acosta said. "And what a year it was over on Fox — or, as I've described it this year, the Bullsh*t Factory. Just in the last week, they've churned out so much BS it's hard to keep up."
After playing damning clips of Fox News' Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters, Acosta turned to Carlson:
"We once honored you with the distinction of Bullsh*t Factory Employee of the Month,
but now that 2021 is coming to an end, we decided to honor you as our first-ever BS Factory Employee of the YEAR!,"
- noting that among other things Carlson has served as a mouthpiece for white supremacists and spread a false flag conspiracy theory about the Capitol insurrection.

""This is an emergency Christmas Day warning to President Trump," conspiracy theorist and anti-vaxer Alex Jones said in Saturday's video.
"You are either completely ignorant about the so-called vaccine gene therapy you helped ram through with Operation Warp Speed, or, you are the most evil man who has ever lived..."

The culture of our country was always one of our biggest exports. Democracy, sports, films, books, social media, software, clothing & streets paved with goal where you could become anything you wanted to be. Boy has that changed.
Our culture is being questioned more than ever before & that's sad to me. Other countries see us fighting with each other & know we are no longer united states but rather blue/red states. We have always been a violent country but now we have kids killing kids, scumbags going en masse robbing stores with no fear of reprisal. Instead of working together to fix these problems, along with our other issues as a country like addiction, homelessness etc., we spend time pointing fingers at each other as to who should accept blame for the mess.
Like Stu, I've stayed away from this forum because I grew tired of the nonsense, the tireless back/forth & refuse to get caught up in that bullshit in the new year. I thought staying quiet on a subject would be acceptance of a certain point of view. But realize if you don't know/accept my point of view by now, well I'm not going to try convince anyone in here. There are certain people who I never respond to & that will not change.
Also, I ask the MODS to jump in here more often because we can't police ourselves. That fact has been proven over & over again. Personal attacks in here are plentiful & only breeds additional personal attacks as well as attacks on family members. We and you need to do a better job of stopping that right now.
Lets be civil with each other. We can agree to disagree without being assholes.

An alt-right-wing radio host said Trump needs an 'intervention from a friend' after Trump advocated for the COVID-19 vaccine that he takes credit for developing
BUSINESS INSIDER - A right-wing radio host appearing on Alex Jones's Infowars said former President Donald Trump needs an "intervention from a friend" over his stance on the COVID-19 vaccines.
Trump has praised the vaccines in multiple appearances this month.
Not the first times Trump had expressed support for "his" vaccine, but his comments prompted outrage from some factions of the right. Wayne Allyn Root, a longtime political commentator and conspiracy theorist, was one of the critics: "He's so horribly wrong on this issue."

Republican Group Calls Out Trump’s scumbag Enablers In Congress By Name In Scathing Fox News Ad
HUFFPOST -
A conservative group is calling out GOP lawmakers for failing to hold former President Donald Trump accountable for the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol carried out by his supporters.
The new ad from the Republican Accountability Project, set to air on Fox News on the first anniversary of the attack, focuses on five lawmakers who were sharply critical of Trump last year, but since either changed their tune or went silent.

McCarthy and McConnell did fairly quick 180's on that, but there were others.
