Why is there a major faction of pro-Putin Republicans? These are the same people who overlooked Dana Rohrbacher and Paul Manafort for a decade.
“The notion that now Kevin McCarthy is going to make himself the leader of the pro-Putin wing of my party is just a stunning thing,” Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) told NBC News on Sunday. This was a provocative way of reminding the country about the House minority leader’s recent declaration that a GOP-controlled House might seek to roll back U.S. military funding for Ukraine’s war effort.
Whats sad about this is Russia works with OPEC to hike our oil prices, and these idiots are paid to look the other way. The pro-Putin wing of the GOP is clearly anti-American.
And remember McCarthy’s famous “joke” from 2016 a few years ago?
On June 15, 2016, McCarthy told his fellow Republicans, “There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump.” (Former Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher earned a reputation as one of Russia’s biggest congressional supporters.) McCarthy added at the time, “Swear to God.”
These guys are clowns. Anyone dumb enough to vote for them is supporting anti-American interests.
