The Dems can only cement their majorities by high crimes and misdemeanors! ie Ballott harvesting and voting machine manipulation and through routers plugged into foreign countries. Usually non presidential election years led to lower turn out statistically.
This was usual responding to a republican favorable out come.
But if the republicans abstain from voting because the feel their vote isn't counted then democrats can actually make gains in the house Senate and governors races across the country. The margins of majority are very thin at this time.

In a statement Thursday, Cheney described Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin, as “a good and honorable public servant who works hard for the people she represents, wants what’s best for the country, and is in this for the right reasons.”
Cheney is scheduled to visit the mid-Michigan district on Tuesday.
“While Elissa and I have our policy disagreements, at a time
when our nation is facing threats at home and abroad, we
need serious, responsible, substantive members like Elissa
in Congress. I encourage all voters in the 7th district –
