As if the Swede’s tax proposal was not already weighted heavily in favor of the rich, they managed to slip in one more enormous break for “big money”. No committee hearings, no review, no time for the public to digest, no time for outrage to develop. They even got Bob Corker on board with this little gem, as he too, is a major real estate mogul. It just gets better and better. Part of the concept is to reward pass-throughs that DO NOT employ people. Reward those that DO NOT create employment. The Swede wants all Americans to have a job, but would prefer it was at a low pay sweatshop that creates no burden on him or his elite, favored, pampered crowd.
I keep saying to myself “you have to be kidding me”, but the bool-sheet just keeps comin’ and the Trump bandwagon just keeps rolling right along. The payback will be vicious and I can tell you right now there will be fools blaming the Democrats for hateful campaigning and accusations, instead of realizing the Swede and his crowd earned it. They are going “all-in” on a total grab at the national wealth, even as they must know it may be the last go-around for the Republican Party. Election Nught 2018 they can turn out the lights, the party’s over.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Either you are obsenely wealthy, a real estate mogul, or have been sucked in by the first year promise. Should the Swede and the GOP survive another 5 years do a reassessment. The carrot is out there, but beware of the stick.

But hey -- at least they are no longer able to fund CHIP the Child Health Insurance Program that insures almpst 9 million children.
No big deal though right? I mean afterall Detox's taxes are going to go down (although by all accounts this will actually not be the case in a year or two).

The reply from Detox is quite telling and is how the majority think...they are told and trust that "theirs" will be taken care of so who cares what else is in the legislation.
Make no mistake, lobbyists and corps know that the under-informed are not going to care what poison they put into this as long as they are told "theirs" in some way are taken care of...
What do we think will happen when you put in a corporate elitist in office, have a majority in control that favors the elite and corps, distract the plebians with fake media, swamp blah blah blah while sliding through toxic legislation? In general nobody cares about society, only about what is theirs and what biases they have.
This legislation is garbage painted for the stupid to come off as a "tax break" when really it is nothing of the sort.

People care about “theirs” as far as the government is concerned.
Plenty of people that think the way I do donate their time and money to help people in need. I can be far more effective with my money than Washington can.

You are making a choice of how tax dollars are spent. This is not about donating money to a charity, the control of tax dollars is not charity it is not doing good for the church down the street. Our tax dollars are going to be spent on only a few general groups and thats just how it goes. Since lobbyists and corps control our process, nothing else really has any meaning.
Tax dollars will be spent on public services, social programs, military services, tax benefit and grants etc, foreign expenses of a large variety and general admin expenses of running the government all branches and functions.
So supporting Trump and this atrocity is supporting several of the above sub sections and going against others. Same goes for a democrat centered budget...if you support a budget crafted by a political mindset you are supporting those things. History shows which groups each political party supports and what supporting those groups means to how tax dollars are spent.
You are supporting corporate welfare as the central pillar of this budget/plan. You can say that YOUR taxes will be cut but really can you tell me HOW those taxes will be cut in detail? I dont know how taxes will be cut versus the cost of those cuts and how those cuts will be afforded and what you lose in the entire process.
My opinion is there are two groups in this country....those that have wealth and those that do not and the distance between the two groups is growing larger, not smaller. So I take actions in my home to try and put myself in the best future position I can via sacrificing, planning, working, budgeting etc etc...and I vote based on my support for the group who has the least AND (this is important) who will be the biggest drain on the future government outlays. I do not think corporations need more tax cuts or reasons to buy back more stock to make more profits and bigger bonuses. Hiring does not occurr from tax benefit, it never has. Hiring comes from demand for services and goods. There is no evidence I've ever seen that proves lower tax rates lead to higher demand and thus more jobs AND more hourly wages (and really that is the only thing that matters, not a low paying job rather a job that gives someone the opportunity to suvive and plan for the future).
So I vote and side with the group with the least and to support social programs even with the flaws they have...and not to expand our military and give tax breaks to corps.

Keyelement and wallstreetcapper are right. All tax cuts are not equal in creating jobs. Most effective are payroll tax cuts for new hires. Also tax cuts are less effective than other ways of creating jobs according to University of Massachusetts and Congress budget office.
For example, every $1 billion in tax cuts creat 4000+ jobs because of taxpayers spending on things that may not create jobs. Defense spending create only 8000+ jobs because of money spend on hardware instead of labour. Unemployment benefits create 19,000 jobs because of spending on necessities. Infrastructure spending create 20,000+ jobs for every $1 billion spend.

Parents should work and pay for their childrens health insurance. Kind of like my parents did. Wallstreet is free to donate all of the money he wants to help children.
Good point. I wonder why I and others have never thought of this before. Parents need to stop being lazy and not making enough money. Just get a higher paying job and that solves everything.
Brilliant.

Just get on welfare. Lose all hope and have the government take care of you and your kids. The more kids, the more money. Kill the 2 parent family structure. Even more brilliant.

I would have to assume this detox guy has not been in detox yet or he is one of the wealthy,or owns a corp.,because anyone other than that gets very little out of this tax break. Not to mention which they are not doing is that the small % they are giving the middle class goes away in a couple years. You should of heard Trump when Reagan did his tax cut for the rich, google it,not much different in the intent of both plans. The 14% break that companies are getting is just going to be extra money to buy back their stock or add to their net worth which is all rich people care about, who is worth more is the goal. And yes parents do buy insurance for their kids,I hope you never get a kid with cancer where it can cost millions to save your child life, then you will want the Govt.help.

You hope my kid gets cancer? Only a liberal would say such a thing. Nasty nasty people.
Maybe the final straw. Now you can't even read, much less comprehend. There is no cure for the terminally stupid. No cure exists because they are not intelligent enough to understand what the cure is or why they need it. Weeks ago I said you didn't need just a detox, but a complete brain flush. Even that wouldn't do any good though. Read what the man said. Think about it. Then apologize for being so darn stupid you didn't get the point in the first place. Stop posting, you anger intelligent people.

If relying on who is President to determine your financial and emotional success in life then you have problems far beyond what anyone can help you with in here.

Is that really what you got out of what I said I feel bad for you, also you know nothing about this tax bill but I am beyond talking to you about that, but you will not understand this either but I was thinking about Jimmy Kimmell who has a sick child I believe, not sure how bad but he was against taking away the insurance for children as most caring Americans would be. Go have a drink and celebrate your huge tax break rich guy.
