It is for sure weird behavior. Musk is the biggest supporter and innovator on EVs and various other technology the Left supports. But because they do not support his politics because they think he is far-Right (he is far from far-Right) they now burn up the very thing they were once promoting as good for the environment. Then you have all of the media and pundits and talk show guys that smirk at it and support it. Very weird to me.

That's the real question is how many times will the lawful use of lethal force to defend property happen before these people decide it's not worth it to ruin a Monet

Fair point.
Peace through strength.
Kind of like the McCloskys.

Three people accused of destroying Tesla cars and charging stations are facing up to 20 years in prison for “domestic terrorism,” US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday.
Each faces a minimum of five years in prison if convicted, but the charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years.
5 years isn't enough ..throw the book at them..these are bad guys...

The people acting out are those who Musk targets with his ultra conservative antics. Prior to his childish chainsaw nonsense and classless behavior towards government employees were there issues that he had to deal with?
He cannot control his multiple personalities and has gone too far with this public spotlight he so craves and in the process he has angered many people and some have decided to break the law in protest.
I dont see how this will stop as long as he is abusive and childish in how he talks down to those people he is firing, it is obvious someone needs to stop this nonsense before more people are harmed due to his antics.
Musk before this for some reason was actually a popular public figure, I always thought he was a rude jerk and I would never have purchased a product he is associated with.

What exact ultra conservative antics do you mean? What makes you think the people ‘acting out’ were ‘targeted’ by him? Exactly how were the folks in Hamilton ‘targeted’?
Musk is NOT an ultra conservative at all. What did he do to target any one group that turned them into, at best vandals, and not simply ‘acting out’. Just because you do not like the man does not mean how you categorize him or tacitly okay criminal behavior okay.
No it is far more than that. When it is happening in other countries, then it is NOT because Musk targeted them and caused them to act up as well. It is a concerted effort and the mindset that has been going on when the far Left does not like something. They resort to burning things down and destroying things.

Libs are the kings (&/or queens) of childish antics. Witness all their recent videos & rallies.....are these the type of "adults" anyone should want in charge of anything? They publicly call for violence against people they don't agree with, outwardly display their hatred towards same, & they cheer the destruction of property. Are these the kind of people you're proud to be associated with?

I cant lead you by the nose to the public display that he has made multiple times as the catalyst for these backlash responses, it is public information and you suggesting you do not know what started this is quizzical. I am not in support of breaking the law and putting innocent people at risk in this case no more than the Jan 6th law breaking and harm rather I am saying this is why and it makes sense to me.
Musk is ultra conservative and while that might not seem the case since you associate with his views and all others in this thread who also feel the same way associate with his views. My opinion of him is more about the way he treats people not what political viewpoint he has. Prior to these events and the election I do not recall many if any threats on him or other Tesla management even though their products have always been garbage so it cannot be due to a lack of quality or low stock price. The stock is still 75 plus higher than the 52 week low.
Not sure how any of you can correlate these events with anything but the way he has attacked and harmed every day citizens just trying to live life while he is probably the largest single beneficiary of government freebies and schemes in the USA. Seems like a good reason for people to be upset.

So are you disconnected from what he is doing or are you like some of your group in agreement and support his approach?
There is a reason why I have disliked the guy for a very long time and it is all about how he treats other people, long long before this scheme and attention seeking endeavor he has a history of being a bully to his employees. You might think that government workers are a dead weight group sucking off a pay check doing nothing, well I do not share that view. Even if there was a need for a RIF in the government there is a classy, professional, respectful way of handling a RIF and then there is what Musk does which is parade around trashing others in an unkind and unnecessary way.
I think the lines drawn even in this forum about Musk is quite telling about how some people do not think others deserve consideration, respect and human decency and whatever means to the end is valid even when it means methods which are insulting and abusive.
I would lump a guy like Steve Jobs in this category, some people have no ability to take action and work with others in a way that shows respect and professionalism and the end goal is all that matters, the carnage and abuses which take place are just part of the process for people like Musk and Jobs.

Of course you can. You stated it, so you should be able to cite the examples. I do not keep up with everything he does like that. I did a cursory search and only find Leftist’ media propaganda and no real examples.
Musk is ultra conservative and while that might not seem the case since you associate with his views
Musk is NOT ultra-conservative. In fact, I do not think he is really a conservative.
Which is exactly why I do NOT associate with all of his stances. I wouldn’t gladly claim him as a conservative if I thought he was. He is not. He may be more so today than in years past, but still not conservative — lets alone ultra conservative.
Not sure how any of you can correlate these events with anything but the way he has attacked and harmed every day citizens
Again, what exactly are you talking about? How did he ‘attack and harm’ these criminals exactly?
Just because you do like the man does not mean you can make unfounded claims and just shrug off criminal behavior as if it is a expected and okay.

I did make the claims off of his actions, I would say the same and I DID say the same about others who act this way. His personality and way of treating others did not originate with this DOGE nonsense, I thought the same about him years ago.
Musk is an opportunist, so while you could say he voted DEM every single opportunity that does not make him liberal or conservative it means he is a schemer who is an opportunist much like guys like Zuck who will scheme in any direction necessary to serve their wallet and stock price, this is how Musk operates.
If you agree with the way he treats his employees, government workers, those who do not agree with him that is of course your right and good for you, I do not agree with the methodology that the end result is the only measure and the lack of consideration and respect for others does not matter. I think he is wired in a way similar to Jobs that they lack the ability to separate business objectives and a base level of consideration and respect and I find that of low character...same goes for how he does and has handled this DOGE nonsense. Its a zero ego attempt to get attention, there is no gain from demoralizing faceless government workers as he does and how some members here do. Government workers are not dead weight, government workers are citizens and members of society trying to live life and be productive in general. There is no purpose for trashing people the way he has, no need to be a spectacle and a jerk while under the guise of alleged government cost savings.

Cute...I am saying your comment about how he voted means nothing, you said he voted DEM and thus...well my reply is he is an opportunist like others who are protecting their financial interests and in Musk's case his government freebies, his bulk wealth is founded on government freebies so how should he act? Its a nice ploy to say "He voted DEM" well that is nothing short of a hedge against the other side winning, my comment about his political views are based on his wallet, his actions, his deeds and the decisions he makes.
To say that a broad low hanging fruit cut of government jobs is acceptable because they are not productive is garbage, what kind of analysis was done on performance to determine WHO was not performing and was every employee evaluated and considered before the cut? No...so yes these acts were political trashing of faceless low to mid level government employees.
Was Musk ever torched for his lousy products or missed deadlines or wait times for repairs or price gouging? Nope.. the actions started when he torched low hanging fruit and paraded around bragging about it like a fool. Did Musk say to make the most impact that he would stop accepting federal and state freebies and stop cashing in on fraudulent carbon credits? That would be the diplomatic thing to do...take one for the country, give up his trough troweling while also doing a RESPECTFUL RIF after great evaluation and consideration.
No Musk just flippantly cut groups and orgs who had no voice and no lobbyists paying politicians to protect them, the forest service and the weather group, the GSA? Yeah those are high target high value hits right there. Where is the cuts to defense spending or stopping renewable rebates and carbon credit schemes?

Dont forgot most of the contracts muskrat is cutting, are just being transferred to his companies to pick up. There are no other companies getting to bid on any of those govt contracts. Latest one is star link took over as white house internet provider. No conflicts there.
The guy made his fortune off USA tax payers and hes gonna become the worlds first trillionaire off the very same tax payers backs.
But bravo, he cut things in the forest dept cause they were wasting billions there.

Simply state what he is ‘ultra-conservative’ about?
Then tell exactly what he did to those folks that are torching things.
I never said he voted Democrat. I just said he is not a conservative.
I am not asking you if he is an opportunist. That is not how this got started. Most people that are successful are. Nearly all businessmen are. So what? That has nothing to do with their politics.
Many studies have been done for government inefficiency. To deny they are inefficient is denying what everyone sees.
I was in 5 airports two days ago in 3 countries. Two of them were USA airports. The difference in workers was astounding. In the USA airports there were many more. Many were sitting around charging their phones or talking to each other. Lines were backed up because of lack of those folks working. In the other countries, they all seemed to be working and on the move.
Go in any post office and you will see one line open and 3-4 folks wondering around behind the one that is working.
Go in the DMV or the tax office — same thing.
Then go on any base and see the same thing. Less than half are really working.
Very, very few number of workers are carrying the overall organization. You see this in the private sector but to a far less degree. But it is the company’s job to fix it. Who should be fixing it at the government level?
Everyone knows there is a huge waste and bloat going on; but no one addresses it.
Now when possibly the most qualified person to do it addresses it folks get mad. Then they burn other folks cars and damage things.
It is silly.

He really is not. I know several people who worked for him and say he basically just wants you to work. Most CEOs that are demanding get that rap. Just weird how the Left turned on him that quick. But they do it to all of their own that are not in lockstep.

To be believe our government should operate w some semblance of responsibility and efficiency, makes one an ultraconservative, or far right... it just tells us all how far off the rails these folks on the left are... and this site is littered w them.

It is not just that. They do not like who is doing it or the way it is being done.
Can you imagine how long it would take Congress to do it. They would set up committees and hire independent parties to look at it. Even when Obama cut some they didn’t like it. Then it promptly grew back even larger.
Like the one guy asked, “If not Musk, then who?”
