However at this point I think the trump party will do everything to "run out the clock" as you say. It is to their political advantage (but to the overall detriment to America) for them to delay or block any further bill passages until AFTER 2022 mid-terms, and depending on those results, perhaps STALL much, much longer. This is large part of the reason WHY Americans of all ideologies say 'Washington never gets anything done' and then reprimands the majority in power as if it is all entirely their fault --- while completely ignoring the senate filibuster rule that actually gives the MINORITY party the power to advance or stall productive bills just for political agendas. as long as filibuster rule remains the minority party whichever it is as virtual veto power over everything but when the repos retake the house and senate , mark my words , THEY WILL VOTE TO END THE FILIBUSTER SO THAT IT WOULD BE A SIMPLE MAJORITY FOR THEM THIS WILL HAPPEN FOR CERTAIN ! one thing is for sure , the filibuster is badly outdated and no longer considered acceptable to allow the MINORITY to rule over the majority much like the stupid electoral college and a senate that is not representative of population
