Judge Cinderela Guevara of Presidio County said on Monday that she spoke
with Justice Scalia’s doctor on Saturday, shortly after he was found
dead in his room at a remote Texas ranch. She said the doctor told her
that Justice Scalia, 79, had a history of heart trouble and high blood
pressure, and was considered too weak to undergo surgery for a recent
shoulder injury.
*** The article failed to mention that Scalia smoked cigarettes and pipe tobacco. An overweight smoker with high blood pressure and a history of heart trouble should have considered himself lucky to have lived to the age of 79.
Attention clueless conspiracy theorists: It was blatantly obvious that obdurate Senate Republicans would not allow a vote on any potential nominee this year. Mitch McConnell is hardly the picture of moderate compromise. His side may will go through SOME steps to aid endangered incumbent blue-state GOP Senators up for reelection this year.
Any actual "assassination" would have occurred much earlier.
You have to understand the mentality of people like this.
For 8 years they have been the victim of Obama and have thrown their emotional temper tantrums over anything and everything real or not.
They are the victims of a biased media (other than fox which is fair and balanced)
They are the victims of unfair mods on this site.
The idea of personal responsibility and accountability is beyond their comprehension. It must be obamas fault or some kind of external injustice. Anything other than his personal choices like tobacco use.

Are you quite sure you aren't over exaggerating the temper tantrums.
Why cannot someone simply strongly disagree with someone on the issues without having some low life blow that disagreement out of proportion?
Fact is that if you don't think that several scenarios are plausible, then you have a closed mind. It could be that he indeed died from natural causes or it could be that he died from lifestyle complications, or it could be that he died from foul play. Far too soon to say at this point.
Anybody who has already concluded or chastised someone else for theories is a complete moron.

Crazy claims invite debunking in an open forum. So far, conspiracy theory is no more than false rumor without supporting evidence. Such rhetoric is baseless, disrespectful, poisonous and irresponsible according to people closest to Scalia. His family has no doubt he died from natural cause and doesn't want an autopsy. Normally, autopsies are rarely done and there is no valid reason for this case. Let a great man rest in peace.

hey one mans conspiracy theory is just another mans buisness plan.
if you stop playing checkers and tic tac toe for change and realize
this a game of chess. understand that what happened here is not the usual routine.
first usually ppl go to a coroner. there is a medical exame and a dr. determines cause of death. even in texas this is a standard practice for anyone dying.
then they go to a mortician. if that doesnt tip a huge red flag then you are beyond hope . now there is no evidence because this body was embalmed before shipping. any toxicology report is useless he has no blood left the embalming fluid replaced it.
the fact the family wants is meaningless the Judge is us property. he is a supreme court life long judge. and at least should of had a medical examiner report a heart attack not some unknown judge from some no where town state it was a heart attack.
the" friends" that invited that man are like the best kept secret in the universe the sherriff isnt have a statement from anyone but the ranch owner about the details of the evening.
it stinks but chaulk it up to aliens who shot kennedy the warren report and all the other underhanded things our government does to us citizens on a daily basis and who can leverage what info on whom as they need a vote or a descision or some other favor....
it is one of those deals we get on a daily basis no one can even know what the truth is because everyone lies so often the lie is what we all believe
and heaven forbid any one challenges the notion that something could be under handed he must be crazy or dellusional or what ever. fine land we live in the government says and we the citizens go ok boss your the boss thats what we believe as well.

Wasn't Scalia almost 80 and fat? I'm pretty sure he died because he was fairly old and not in good shape at all. It's not really surprising that he died. You put more stress on your organs and body in general to function if you let yourself go. It doesn't take a genius to realize that.

I'm in the market and the checkout headline from the National Enquirer reads "Scalia was poisoned by a hooker paid for by the cia" While I always consider the source I still am asking the question who benefits by Scalia passing. On a note note on the campaign trail Hillary was asked if she would consider appointing Obama to the Supreme Court? Her response "what a wonderful idea"
