The President and his outside legal team now are forcefully arguing that special counsel Robert Mueller is overreaching and that his investigation should be strictly focused on Russia."(July 21)
Mueller's original scope was russian meddling in our election. When additional evidence came up beyond this scope (i.e. Racketeering), FBI agents no doubt reported their findings. Typically a new scope gets opened and such investigations drag on. That's the nature of such undertakings whether it be watergate or the IRS investigating a random individual for tax evasion.
Although collusion was the entry pathway to the investigation it may not be the charge that will be most problematic to trump.
This is major news this week. Especially if you continue to buy the "witch hunt" narrative.

Bottom line- trump is completely miscast in this role. You can't have his background and work for the Feds. This is not an anti trump post. This is reality and the news this week about opening new scopes was bound to happen given his past history. Obvious this was coming.
