Should Democrats simply allow the Republicans to pass Trumpcare without a fight?

The rationale being that Trumpcare as it stands is the most unpopular bill ever devised. Yes with an approval rating of anywhere from 17 - 23 % it is by far the most unpopular bill in American History. Everyone knows the results of a semi popular health care bill like Obamacare and a deeply but not as unpopular Hillarycare plan. Democrats proceeded to get annihilated in the following Midterms elections. The losses were sustained and irreversable. Democrats still have not recovered from losing almost 1,000 statehouse seats, flipping the House by almost 100 seats and losing 12 Senate seats in that time.

With a bill like Trumpcare that even Republicans hate, basically everyone except hardcore social conservatives. If this bill is passed by the skin of their teeth then it will lead inevitably to the death spiral that Republicans have been warning about for years. Young and healthy patients will simply pay for the “skimpy plan” while those with pre-existing conditions will be shuttered into high risk pools with massive premiums that will simply make it unaffordable for the majority of them and turn it into simply health care for the rich.

With such an inviting possibility why are the Democrats even fighting this bill? Should they not simply let it pass and let the Republicans eat a shit sandwich for the next 5 years? With Trump’s approval rating dropping by the hour, it seems highly unlikely he could possibly win re-election. Should democrats simply let this monstrosity of a bill pass and reap the electoral rewards in 18' and 20'?

Republicans control the House, Senate and White House, Democrats have no business of this matter. Pass this TrumpCare or not, it's all up to the Republicans, I perceived.   

both party's should, and could unify, but that's being politically correct, and a no, no, keep fighting, keep nitpicin' while the American people stand by and watch what little bit of health care they already have, simply fade away into oblivion...a total sh!t job by both the democrat's & republicans, who care only about their selfish needs, and not those of their constituents.

so what else is new?
