Texas School District Pulls Over 400 Books

An analysis by The Dallas Morning News found that of the first 100 titles listed, 97 were written by women, people of color or LGBTQ authors.  It's the far-right lunatic fringe of the Republican party that is the actual Cancel Culture Club, showing their utter disdain for free speech.

This is deplorable.

First, Texas takes away a woman's freedoms, then voting rights,  and now this.

ironic            they constantly accuse liberals of restricting free speech

Books like “Gender Queer: A Memoir” by Maia Kobabe — should not be available to young children in a school library. Kobabe’s graphic novel is about the author’s own journey with gender identity. At one point, it includes an illustrations of oral sex and other sexual content, along with discussions related to pronouns, acceptance and hormone-blocking drugs.

Some Democrats have recently gone public about their support for pedophiles. 

Republicans are doing the right thing by taking a look and protecting the young children. 

A Virginia university assistant professor recently argued it wasn’t necessarily immoral for adults to be sexually attracted to kids

The assistant professor, who is transgender and uses the pronouns they/them 

Walker has written a book titled “A Long Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity” 

Democrats think these books are ok and making sure they’re not available in school libraries is far-right lunatic fringe and an example the cancel culture club. 

It’s unbelievable where we are as a country. 

Oddly, censors over react to mostly harmless books that many students don't read.  But dangerous misinformations from Fox news are allowed to reach a larger audience.  History shows that censorship can become outdated in the future as previously censored books are now mainstream.  For examples, Harry Potter, To kill a mockingbird, Tom Sawyer and Catcher in the rye.

Of the top 100 newspapers in 2016, 57 endorsed Hillary; 2 endorsed Trump. In 2020: 47-7 for Biden.

The Trump years were dominated by non-stop insane conspiracy theories about Putin and the Kremlin. They cheered when Big Tech censored anti-Biden reporting before the election.

Now Democrats are crying about censorship because their transgender pedophile books are being looked at and taken off of shelves in school libraries in one state.

You use this as if it fits your side. HE SWITCHED PARTIES. What does that tell you about your own party? Guess what, the left is losing a lot of voters. Just look at the POTUS and his VPs numbers. Falling off a cliff faster than gravity.

School board in Tennessee has banned Maus the Pulitzer prize winning novel about the holocaust.  This is the latest in the war against hundreds of books in mostly republican states.  Maus is considered too disturbing because of profanity, nudity and violence.  But history is full of inappropriate content.  People are supposed to be disturbed by horrors of the holocaust. The truth shouldn't be dismissed or whitewashed for a better educated society.  Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

many red states have invoked CENSORSHIP by banning teaching about black history called CRT too

You can buy or go to a library and see that book. You can even order it from Amazon. "Red states" have not banned the book, rather a school district decided it was too adult for 8th graders.

If parents disagree go to the school board meetings and voice their opinion, GET INVOLVED.

HOW ABOUT CNN? 

Democrats progressive ways and Baltimore inner city schools, a lesson for our country.

The rural white kids in my local, the Asian children attending good schools across the country, the Pakistanies and Indian children from India, youth from all over the world all entering the real world soon and competing with those Balitimore inner city black youths. 

Those kids from Baltimore don't stand a chance in the real world! 3804 students, only 14 proficent in math. 77% reading at an elementary level. Yet they are graduated, pushed down the line.

So now the real world is expected to change because leftist policies have destroyed generations of inner city youth, left them WITH NOTHING. Math is racist, tests are racist, white folks to blame. We are oppressed.

Not the real world I'm afraid. Very sad to watch!

So obsessed on what direction others want their children to learn and ignoring those who don't have a chance because of the horrible direction they were given.
