And they have been doing that crap consistently ever since.

Example is not a single republican in congress voted for the American Rescue in 2021 shortly after Biden took office (which followed the republicans failed attempted coup) That bill was to help desperate American citizens and American businesses badly hurting from the pandemic disaster for which the republicans allowed to devastate the entire country and are responsible.

The contrast between the guilty perps (Trump and GOP) and the hero who was doing the right thing for the country (Biden) was just too much for them to bare, so they tried to block "rescue" from becoming reality. That way the people and American businesses would continue to suffer to almost unthinkable levels with no recovery in sight under the new Biden admin and the republicans would have their shouting points in succeeding elections so their party could regain power.

That's the deal.

Fortunately for America, the republicans self-serving plot failed.
