Not positive but I think this makes trump the only president in modern era (post WWII) to leave office with a WORSE unemployment stat than when he took office (in his first term)

President Biden in a letter to Pelosi tonight withdrew "73 proposed rescissions previously transmitted to the Congress."

Trump in the last week of his presidency moved to freeze roughly $27 billion worth of government programs using the budget maneuver.

Biden has scrapped it.

Would love to know what programs had been frozen.

 That is correct, he is the only president with a net negative total unemployment raw numbers (not the percentage rate)

Here's a GOP stimulus counter-proposal I agree with...

Washington (CNN) The Republican counterproposal on coronavirus relief unveiled Monday
would potentially leave out 29 million middle- and upper-income earners who would
qualify for stimulus payments under President Joe Biden's plan.

The GOP plan would cut off cash for individuals earning more than $50,000 a year
and couples earning more than $100,000, according to a fact sheet provided by the
office of Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins.

About 78% of families would qualify for a relief payment under the Republican proposal,
while 95% would be eligible under Biden's proposal

( Biden plan is too inclusive in this case. Not everybody is suffering, nor needs help. The GOP proposal is more realistic although I would raise the proposed $50k limit for individuals to $60k)

Aims to address economic and political causes of migration, works with organizations to provide protection to asylum seekers and ensures Central American asylum seekers have legal access to the United States. Rescinds Trump administration policies and guidelines and also initiates a review of policies “that have effectively closed the U.S. border to asylum seekers”

For those who wrongly believe "the sky is falling in! the sky is falling in!"  no this DOES NOT MEAN open borders.

Nobody wants open borders.  We can't afford it.   But our current laws state we must grant "temporary asylum" until such time as that person gets a fair hearing to his application.

Most will ultimately be turned away.  But some do in fact have real legitimate cases to plead for asylum, and as a just nation we should at least hear them and make a ruling.   Aylum seekers are *LEGAL*

Those who cross the border illegally need to be deported.  And yes I believe in stronger walls on our southern border *PROVIDED* the money to pay for it comes out of "pork" and/or our OBESE and frivilous military spending
