The US job market is roaring back!

The U.S. lost a total of 22 million jobs after the pandemic was
allowed to take hold in 2020. But things are turning around from
that 2020 disaster under the Trump administration.
In March, 431,000 jobs were added, leaving the total number
of jobs now only 1.6 million shy of pre-pandemic levels!

Several labor market measures are already close to their pre-Covid levels,
the BLS said Friday. That includes the total number of unemployed people,
which fell to 6 million in March, as well as the number of permanent job
losers, which declined to 1.4 million.

Absolutely needed, with inflation around the country and all over the world as high as it is.

Biden administration announces $500 million to improve energy efficiency in public schools according to the Hill.  Public K-12 schools spend roughly $8 billion a year on energy bills, meaning upgrades to HVAC system, lighting and insulation can unlock significant savings.

The national average for gas prices is now at $4.19. Gas prices are up 81% since the inauguration of Joe Biden.

as job openings remain near record highs.
Average hourly earnings increased to $31.73 in March.

Obama and Biden announce improvement in Obamacare.  Increase in number of dependents who can get subsidized insurance would allow estimated 200,000 uninsured Americans to gain coverage and about a million could switch to a more affordable plan.  Kaiser family poll found majority of Americans support Obamacare.  But if republicans ever repeal Obamacare, over 100 million Americans could lose healthcare insurance.
