I got a question:  Why do we always go by Eastern Time?  What about the Mountain Time zone or the Padific Time zone?

I think all these polls are messed up and there will be many surprises.

Messed up cuz the early voting entrance polling is only tracking registered GOP or registered DEM and most of the states don't keep track of that data anyway.  And there are probably a ton of people who were once registered GOP but voted for Obama in 2008 and never bothered to change their official party registration.

Given the current line, not really worth betting on the overall result.  So, any thoughts on the some of the states where the juice isn't too heavy?  Colorado, Virginia, etc.

Also think all the media outlets would rather cover a tight election than a non tight election.  And the GOP needs to inflate polls so voters don't give up and the Dems don't care cuz they don't care if appears tight, so people turn out.

I am a registered Republican because my High School sweetheart was a staunch Republican, a member of "Teen Age Republicans."  If her father knew I was a closet Democrat, he would have cut my balls off.  I never officially changed political parties.

Politics in High School?

Had a girlfriend several years ago who had a problem with me watching the David Letterman show cuz he bashed Bush.

That was about the end of that one.

Be soooo glad to get this Mitt dude off the television.  I can handle listening to Bush, Huckabee, Santorum, even Newt.  But this Mitt guy is annoying as frick.  He talks to people like they are in the third grade.

Not to be a dick, but there are PLENTY of other threads that are going to go ballistic once the election results are in.  Might as well keep this one a rational discussion of what's actually going on and what could happen.  

"I win, you lose" doesn't add much value.
