Current and retired law enforcement officials cited Trump's proposed cuts to law enforcement funding and his own criminal charges as well as his promises to pardon those convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and to terminate the Constitution.
"Trump has repeatedly shown he does not respect law enforcement or the rule of law. He creates disorder that puts law enforcement and all Americans at risk."
The group includes the law enforcement heads of
Atlanta;
Bloomington, Indiana;
Arlington, Virginia;
Stonecrest, Georgia;
Henderson, Nevada;
and other localities as well as retired police chiefs of
Philadelphia,
Washington,
Seattle and
Oakland, California, among other cities.
Harris is a former attorney general in law enforcement. Whereas Trump is a convicted felon with a long history of violating laws. The choice is clear. A vote for Harris is a vote for law and order. In contrast, a vote for Trump is a vote for lawlessness and chaos.
One thing is certain after tonight's debate:
trump will declare himself the winner (even if he lost)

Obviously, no one should re-elect the worst president in US history. A second Trump term would be a disaster based on past performance and his future plans. in contrast, Harris is far less risky as president because she combines steady leadership with change, calm, honesty, bipartisan governing and hope for a better future.
