    I stand in solidarity with the mob.

    Chasing lawmakers from their duties into tunnels was truely democracy in action.

    Yep. Their "duty" is to themselves only, yet the liberal left cheers them on.

    @UNIMAN

     If you were going to be censored, wouldn't it already have happened?

    You are advocating for a violent mob who injured over 50 police officers, killing one, chasing democratically elected politicians into hiding. That is nothing short of totalitarianism / fascism no matter your beliefs. an_light

    Oh no, you have me all wrong. LET ME GO ON RECORD, I DO NOT CONDON VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND, ESPECIALLY TO LAW OFFICERS AND OUR ELECTED LEADERS

    My post has nothing to do Jan 6th, 2021.

    It is about Wisconsin Capital Building 2011. Those words I posted (quoted);

    "I stand in solidarity with the mob."

    "impressive show of democracy in action"

    These are Nancy Pelosi's words, 2011, NOT MINE.

    Oh, you can now find article after article that says the two cannot be compared. Look it up in Wikipedia, no mention of State Senators fleeing through a tunnel. No mention of a Democrat telling the mob where the Senators were. No mention of police forming a human chain to get the fleeing Senators on a bus. No mention of that bus having it's windows broken, rioters rocking the bus. No mention of the threat to "gut the governor's wife like a deer". No mention of chalk outlines drawn on the Capital sidewalks with lawmakers names on them. But you will read about some threats Dems received, go figure.

    Oh no, it was a peaceful, "rightious" protest!! Totally unlike Jan 6th.

    Fraid NOT!! Violence is violence, whether people get killed or not.

    I do not support what happened in either case. The idiots I saw in the Capital Building deserve what they get. The idiots driving around D.C. with guns and ammo need to be locked up too! The guy with viking horns, what a complete freak!! Both sides of this debate have their freaks. Oregon and the State of Washington prove just that.

    My point here is; Take a hard look at your elected leaders, are they really what they say they are, or are they "my way no matter how wrong, the end justfies the means" type of people.

    I believe Pelosi is more NAZI than anyone I have ever seen. She has encouraged HATE all summer with "People do what they do" in response to violence. She called violence in 2011, "democracy".

    Now Antifa, (the myth) is violent in western cities. Why not? They've gotten away and were encouraged all summer long.

    And our media plays right along, dimming any negativity towards dems, brightening any towards Repub's.

    This cannot go on, we will destroy ourselves from within. Our REAL enemies are laughing right now.

    So sad.

    I have no idea what you are talking about. Your first post was the following:

    I stand in solidarity with the mob.

    Chasing lawmakers from their duties into tunnels was truely democracy in action.

    That was all I was referring to. peace_5

    It was a trap my friend, I suckered you in.

    Those are the words of "totalitarianism / fascism no matter your beliefs." You said it yourself!

    But yet you don't see these are the words of your own elected officals, the very thing you AND I oppose. That ALL AMERICANS should oppose.

    Maybe this might help;

    I created this post not to condon the Jan 6th violence that took place in a mostly peaceful protest, I created it to show the HYPOCRISY of one of our most vocal elected leaders.

    I used her despicable words and it looked like it was about Jan 6th but it was not. It was another INSURECTION that took place 10 years prior. Only that time it was not against her party, rather for it. Hypocrisy at it's best!!

    It was my intention to gather several condemnations before revealing the true meaning. But having a Cover's referee respond had me responding much quicker.

    What a world we live in!!

    You would have a point if I ever defended Pelosi's statements. I have not nor would I. You should look up 'red herring.' Carry on. peace_5

    Rather, you condemned them (when not knowing it was Pelosi's words) as any sane person should.

    Would you condemn them now???

    That's the problem!  an_light

    @UNIMAN

    You are assuming that I did know know about Pelosi's statements. You know what they say about assuming?

    I am fully briefed on the Wisconsin protests and the various lawmaker's comments. Here is a good comparison from the right-wing Wall Street Journal showcasing the extreme differences. peace_5

    Djbrow is right.  Political violence of capital riot isn't democracy.  Actually, a threat to democracy by illegally attempting to overturn results of fair election.  True display of democracy is November election which Biden won with the largest number of votes in US history.

    Your link is The Miiwaukee Journal Sentinel (jsonline) NOT the Wall Street Journal. And The WSJ not so "conservative" anymore, not that it matters, I just look for TRUTH. Hard to find anywhere!

    The TRUTH is the governor received death threats, there were chalk body drawings with lawmakers names. Windows were broken, Senators were chased from the Capital and herded into a tunnel only to be attacked as police escorted them into a bus.

    Read this; "Officers eventually retrenched to the third floor, Donovan said, adding, "it was felt by several law enforcement officials that the best solution was to keep everybody safe" and stop trying to keep the crowds out."

    Here, police let the mob in the Capital Building, they didn't want bloodshed. In D.C. the Capital Police, whom Nancy Pelosi has charge of, shot blindly through broken glass and killed a woman. She had no weapons. Police also violently resisted and attacked the protestors as they demanded to enter just as protestors did in Wisconsin.

    I commend the Repulican controlled Capital Police in WI for showing restraint and keeping lawmakers out of harms way when emotions were high and condemn the Democratic controlled Capital Police in D.C. for blindly shooting through a window, poor planning, and aggravating an already voltile situation.

    So Wisconsin Capital Police made the best of a bad situation, DC made the worse of bad situation. 10,000+ people and just a handful of officers with bicycle helmets, hmmmmmmm.

    @UNIMAN

     Actually, the Wall Street Journal did repost that article and credited the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel but thank you for the clarification. peace_5

    The fact that you are comparing the two, when even far right wing politicians like McConnell and McCarthy are not shows just how far of a right wing extremist you are. Certainly entitled to those views but it doesn't get you credibility. an_light

    As all investigations have concluded, the police presence was inadequate at the Capital. There are may theories at the moment (such as why the Republican Governor of Maryland was prevented from sending the national guard, who would have reached the location in less than 30 minutes). But I'll let those investigations continue before I make by conclusions. peace_5

    So I'm basically asking you; Do you have convictions and beliefs you adhere to or do you follow a party line and the end justifies the means??

    Pelosi said those words after lawmakers were chased from their chambers. Police allowed the mob to enter to avoid bloodshed.

    In DC, the police resisted the mob, shot blindly through broken glass, death and injuries resulted.

    Both were protests gone bad with insurections.

    I posted a statement which you "assumed" was about Jan 6th insurection. YOU YOURSELF CONDEMNED THOSE WORDS AS NAZI, FACISM, TOTALITARAIN.

    The words were not mine but Nancy Pelosi's. Suddenly those words are not the same. You pull excuses off the internet of others who find excuses too.

    NO, these insurections are both UNEXCUSIBLE!!! Pelosi's words are/were fanning HATE.

    Your failure to condemn reveals you have no convictions. And even if you did you dare not express them pubicly else you would be next to be cancelled.

    NAZISM at it's best.

    Do you know what a strawman is? I've assisted you by linking the below but I will help.

    It is when you attack an opponent's position based on a position they don't hold.

    So I will ask you to post one time I ever condoned the Wisconsin protests. One time. If you find it, I will apologize. When you don't, I look forward to yours. peace_5

    What I have said is they are apples and oranges and every non-far right extremist person and publication agrees with this. peace_5

    Ahh, you forgot White Supremist and racist too. Labeling and name calling seem to be a trait for some.

    No my friend, I am not, at least not by my definition. Never into politics. Didn't vote for Trump in 2016 either. When he first stated "fake news" I thought he was a kook. Never really took him serious, worried he might F-up the country. Everytime he tweeted I said "could he be any more stupid. Then I started paying attention. The news media was no doubt out to get him. Hillary still claiming 2016 election was false. The Russian hoax impeachment. You do realize the FBI did lie on FISA warrants??? Look it up. The Hunter laptop was the cherry on top. Russian disinformation, banned from twitter, Joe himself said it was Russian disinformation. Ahhh, we know now, it was all a LIE. It's real. Maybe hurt Joe, maybe not, but it's real.

    So I sit in my house and say what would I rather have? Gasoline at two bucks a gallon, interest rates at an all time low, no wars overseas, and my taxes better than I thought they would be. With that I get an inflated ego Pres. who says stupid shit on twitter and pisses off lifetime politicians. Ok, I don't have any remorse for lifetime politicians, I don't use twitter, like everything else.

    OR, do I want to move this country towards "defunding the police" (It's already happening), a political party that encourages violence including harassing people in resturants and in their own home at night. Do I want a Vice President who commits to getting protesters released from jail, now remember protesters don't go to jail unless they commit a crime or two. Like beating cops, arson, smashing windows. Is there any JUSTIFICATION for actions such as these?? Not that I see, I condemn violence. And do I want a world where people who voice their opinnion lose their job? Don't think so.

    Abortion; I have no stance here. Climate change; Yes, the planet is warming, no doubt. How many years of coal burning did it take to get here? How many coal fired plants does China and India have. Hint; they're building more as we speak. They also fudge their carbon numbers too. Just like their covid numbers. So do we do drastic changes or do we let technology drive us in the right direction? I would prefer let technology drive us, it's been working for years.

    China just about owns us now, with covid they will leapfrog us for sure.

    I can go on and on, but it's simple. I HAVE PRINCIPLES AND CONVICTIONS I ADHERE TO. HONESTY AND HONOR means I'm a man, without it your a coward. Trump is no piece of cake, full of bagage, but he put America first, $2 gas, low interest rates, no wars, low taxes, low unemployment before covid  all proves it. IMO. He exagerates, boosts, and not very good people skills. Surrounds himself with good people, not 1 transgender, 3 minority women, gays, and whatever but actually gets THE BEST PEOPLE he believes gets the job done. Middle East peace accords prove that. Smoothing over North Korea's crazy azz dictator better for us.

    Biden is a flat out lifetime politician who once coddled dems who tried to stop equal rights (1964), he rejected blacks going to better schools, he lied about being jailed visiting Mendella, he lied about not knowing his son's business, he lied about the laptop. He stayed silent as violence erupted in our cities. Obama created as much hate as he could at Lewis' funeral. African Americans are told you cannot succeed as there is "sysmatic racism", rather you need us to help you. Not true, IMO. Our intercities school system a mess, no education means no chance, period!

    I find it ironic that Biden puts a bust of Ceaser Chavis in his office.

    With the help of UFW co-founder Dolores Huerta, Chavez launched the "Illegals Campaign," which he believed was nearly as important as the boycott. He criticized President Nixon and the Border Patrol for letting in so many "wets," as he called them.

    So I do not agree with the democratic way. It appears to be hate, imtimidation, and policies aimed at growing the democratic party rather than the citizens it supposed to serve.

    So I chose the LESSER EVIL.

    Yes, I am sure with all your statements above and in other threads, you are a moderate independent who did not support Trump. an_roll_laugh

    I'm still waiting for that apology for stating that I supported the Wisconsin protests. an_light

One time. If you find it, I will apologize. Ah, another label, Strawman.

    I'm not attacking your position, not at all. I'm asking you when words like that are spoken, especially by our leaders, for an event that chases our elected officials from the halls of government, do you not CONDEMN them as hate or do you support them when it only fits your political stance?

    Does not matter that law enforcement engaged one violently and the other did not. I'm sure officers were injuried in Wisconsin, google it you'll find nothing. That's a big problem many seem to ignore.

    Did not every non-far-right extremist person and publication say the laptop was Russian disinformation? Did not every non-far right extremist say Trump thumbed his nose at visiting World War 1 graves? Did not the laptop suddenly become real, the FBI has it. Did not Bolton clarify Trump didn't visit grave site cause secret service said weather was bad?

    So if you say it 100,000 times in unison it becomes TRUTH????

    I believe your Apples to Oranges is a cop-out,  NO WAY can your party ever be wrong!!!! Can't say it, just can't say it. So apples to oranges is ALL OF OUR EXCUSES. Sorry, it's not, but keep listening to them all, they'll convince you of whatever they want you to think.

    Sounds like Nazi's to me.
