Oh I can make an easy case for this...not at all difficult. I do not think this country is better since Trump, not in any way at all.
In your reply to me above you state all these arbitrary "accomplishments" and label that things are better, well you and most of the boys here are completely missing the reality of the current state of the economy and this country.
Trump is an abusive, lousy leader. His approach and lack of concern for others has divided this country more than any time I can recall in the past, he is not an example of anything but selfish, abusive capitalism at its worst. That is not my point but I am stating this with regards to his leadership and care for the good of others and this country. He is a phony, a lousy disgusting person who is an embarrassment but you know what? Many like you do not give a crap about how you treat others, as long as you GET YOURS who the hell cares? That is how Trump leads and unfortunately others are selfish losers like him and feel vindicated with abusing others because this schmuck does it and is president.
Back to the real reply though...the economy is not better, things for the average person are not better. It is like giving a drug fix to a junkie and the junkie can go about their day for a few hours feeling normal and thinking its all good and the consequences of the "fix" are not in sight so all is good. EVERY SINGLE benefit and accomplishment in this economy has come off the back of added debt and future pain. The employment gains are not adding wealth or savings to the average worker, people are saving less and the chasm between the upper and lower class has never been higher. The UE rate is a scam it has always been a scam...the size of the workforce is inaccurate, there is a massive shadow unemployed pool that isnt counted. If you are on UE for a certain length of time you fall off the rolls and are not counted. This UE number is scam its fake its a joke.
The only measure in the UE that matters is average hourly earnings..nothing else matters at all, the rest is manipulated in the same fashion China guides their GDP, everyone knows our UE number is as fake as Trump is, but it isnt all his fault its been fake for a long time. The real UE number including able workers in the shadows is likely 10%, maybe higher. Trump gets no credit for this phony number because the number dropped due to the tax gifts he gave to the upper class and corporations.
Let me ask you something, if I win the lotto and I get 500 million after taxes and I decide I want to put this money to work by giving small business owners a grant from my charitable fund...but I want to determine what the return to GDP would be for this "investment"....what do you consider a reasonable return for 500 million or 500 billion or 2 trillion dollars in debt with relation to GDP? It better be freaking good because we are going to be paying on that for the next THIRTY YEARS and including interest expense these gifts that the dope gives will end up costing 10 TRILLION when all is said and done (run a interest schedule for a 30 yr with different interest rate levels to get this number). So we ate the steak now, we are not paying for the steak, what benefit SHOULD we see for this decision? Is a .5% bump in GDP in the short term commensurate with the cost of that bump? Is it a good use of funds to issue debt paid by the taxpayer to the elite and corps so they can speculate in the market and buy back their stock and enrich themselves with bonuses? Is this a good use of funds?

Trump has helped the elite, and that cost will be borne by the lower and middle class with benefit reduction, higher taxes and a slumping economy. Do you know why corporate profits rebounded? Its not because of fiscal policy it is due to the same thing Trump is whining about right now.
The FED keeping rates at zero was a direct shot of heroin for corporate profits...now if you want to show me how Obama gave tax gimmies and allowed corps to bring offshore profits back tax free etc etc please feel free to do that and we can compare apples to apples.
Keep your eyes on the bouncing ball, it makes some of you guys look a bit foolish when you blanket compare Obama like this. I am not saying that ANY politician is better than another because most of them are useless since they are owned by corps so they are biased and useless but your analysis is severely lacking.
Actually every mod here is top notch, I am not saying that for any other reason that all mods do this because we enjoy the site and have been members a very long time.

I find it hard to believe Trump and the Air Farce have not yet ordered 150 million gallons of Napalm from Dow (they still have the formula, right?). Simple matter to buy all privately held land within three miles of the border (junk bonds Donny), move our border forces back and VOILA! Light her up baby! Let's see the suckers get through that mother! While the Napalm is burning out we can have the Air Farce strafe the entire area, just in case some brave souls in asbestos suits tried their luck.
I guess I still need to develop a policy for the Dems waiting at the border with I.D. cards, welfare checks, and voting instructions, but may leave it up to the geniuses on this site to decide whether they get moved back with our border forces or should we just leave them there to be among the first martyrs when the holocaust begins?
Someone please tell NASA we are going to want satellite coverage of the three mile wide strip of Napalm as it burns through the night.
