They said that President Trump lied, and once again he was telling the total truth!

Bravo to ABC's fact checking of Trump in debate. Polls show most viewers see ABC moderators as fair and unbiased. Federal communication commission rejects Trump's call to revoke ABC broadcast license.

Intelligent viewers of the "debate" immediately noticed that the "moderators" failed to call out Harris on all the previously debunked lies she spewed.

CNN fact check found 30 Trump lies and 3 Harris lies in debate. Apparently, Harris and Biden are far more honest than pathological liar Trump who deserves more fact checking.

I think Kamala looked a little too prepared, as if she may have known some questions in advance, but even if true, this is politics, and in politics there is no fairness. I understand that she went to the same fraternity as one of the moderators; I also think she is good friends with the CEO of ABC (I need fact checking --LOL_. Still, this is politics....
Trump should have anticipated some questions (the one about her identity)....
He should have clear answers for how to stop the war in Gaza, and I suspect he will stop funding the war in Ukraine, since this is how it can end, maybe the only way, but he witholds this...
I don't get how Trump is still popular enough to bring this election down to 1-2 states. I try.....I want to convince you Trump supporters to reconsider.... and see the game he is playing on you---
He is trying to 'vibe' with you, to channel your ander and resentment towards government and all its shortcomings: High taxes...endless wars....open borders....poor management of the economy....whatever...
SO he is trying to look and feel the anger so you will empathize with him. I admit there are problems, but I ask you to look at his record on those issues. He had 4 years in office. Did he control the border? Build a wall? No. Maybe this remain in Mexico was good, but the fentanyl came in.....the numbers were still there....He even supported H1 visas for Indian nationals (which actually is a democrat position).
His lone good economic policy was tariffs, but this is a very old tried and tested way to raise revenue--Biden kept these tariffs and augmented them. Othgerwise, nothing but tax breaks for the rich (predictable) and excessive spending.
He was right to condemn the exit from Afghanistan, but why didnt he end this on his watch? Why does the US occulpy 1/3 of Syria, the oil fields, ? Because he ordered this, and he bombed Syria, and he tried to incite a war with Iran by assassinating thier generals. He is not a peacemaker. I don't even think he will be able to make deals (which he brags he can do).
Hi positions on the border are a bit too dramatic /hyperbolic and are far too racist to get behind for my liking, but again, he is doing this to vent YOUR anger (specifically older males demographic), but that is acting.
Do you think he will surround himself with people who will act on these angry promises he makes? Nope. He had Goldman Sachs and ex CIA, ex military ind complex staffers (so called neocons), more than Biden.
You think he would have got Assange released? Nope. Pompeo wanted to have Assange killed (for betraying the bureacrats by revealing in house messages, emails).
He is only being the angry pretend populst. He will betray you. Just like he did on Jan 6th, inciting supporters to storm the Bastile, make demands.....but did nothing for their safety, no clear directives....and many of them wound up in prison for lengthy sentences....one woman was shot and killed.
The angry voter syndrom is a tactic.....many politicians do this, and Trump's style seems to resonate in rural areas of the US. I ask you to consider how his rhetoric will harm America, divide it, because hate is incited and emboldened.....and more importantly the policies he promises will never come to fruition. Why waste a vote there...?
The power of agencies and bureaucracies is a different challenge for America, to save her democracy, so it is not hijacked from voters and all the critical issues are decided by these agencies.....But Trump will not do anything about that. You know this already....

And there was a debate winner and a debate loser according to the same miffs....I never saw a record in archives where W's and L's were kept, ya know, for record keeping purposes...but yea, let's cal lit wins and loses without any merit or criteria to grade as such as they do in sports where a declared winner and declared loser is defined...
Kamala wins debate
Trump loses debate
And let's hold on to this because it will go down in history in the Presidential hall of fame ...wonder when we can see this win up in Canton....or is that preserved for the cat eating lady

It is funny how Trump rushes to blame and conspiracy when things do not go his way. To me the root of his complaint is everything about him and the chaos, lack of preparation, over confidence and his smug zero ego. He does not put in the work to know depth about much of anything, he would rather get 18 holes in than prepare for a debate with an inferior liberal woman. His never ending rambling and lack of comprehensive depth. lack of understanding fine detail gives the answer to his current conspiracy garbage.
Harris prepared much harder, her experience and depth in public speaking and the law make her better suited to a debate where the requirements are more rigid and specific than just letting the big dood plop in front of a mic and ramble away. I fully understand his lack of interest to have another debate, he is awful at debate and especially with someone that is superior to him in that way. She will put in the work she will be prepared and he is too over confident and lazy to do what is required to win a debate.
It is amusing watching Trump flail around seeking to answer questions that require knowledge with regard to policy and politics, it is rare that you see him asked a question and have him stick to the topic and give sharp, in depth answers with clarity and a reasonable level of speed to the answer.

Kind if funny when Kamala is asked unexpected questions she fails to make any sense. During the debate , she seemed to be overly confident, as if she knew questions before hand. Watch her in interviews it's clear as night and day. End of the day did the debate really have a huge impact??..

For sure that is the case with any off the cuff debate, if you prepare and get thrown a curve then you are having to improvise. The problem is Trump knows almost nothing in depth, he never stays on point he rambles on everything and that is the sign of someone who is unprepared and thinks they can wander around through a question. It is not a dig on Trump rather a dig on his lack of prep and lack of dedication to knowing depth and being able to articulate precisely and not confidently. He knows very little about politics and it shows. It would be like having Trump do a play by play for a football game, it would be a disaster because he is out of his league and with political debate he is way out of his league.

My final point is on personality.
We are all sports bettors. We should all agree how important coaches are to a team. Most games are decided by just a small number of plays that make a difference, and nearly every game will have a "crunch time" for those moments. When players are in these moments in a close game, under stress, they will invariably reflect the personality of their coach. They will either be calm, collected, rational, methodical, or they may lose their cool, lose their focus and judgement.
Trump has been a major personality for all to see, and it is not unfair to see him as one who divides, who belittles, who glances the headlines or a crowd and divides them as "winners" or "losers." He thinks the "game" and the culture should all flow through him, that his perception is so keen, but as we saw in Charlotesville, during COVID...during the election....he is, for lack of a better word at the moment, confused, and his comments reflect someone who is over focusing on some triviality. He is not keeping his "team" or his fellow Americans on target, focused on what matters.
Modern day culture is one of acceptance, tolerance. This isn't just a demographic of "narcissistic cat ladies who are in constant need of coddling..."
Iceland had a mock election (Europeans/Scandinavians.... all wish they could vote in the US election) and they chose Kamala by a large margin.
I read most republicans feel the 2020 election was unfair or had fraud. Why has Trump not proposed all paper balloting and voting in person, no computers (Europe style) or at least proposed an initiative for a full forensic "warp speed" audit, so noone has doubts? This is another example of being out of focus. Anger for anger sake. Do you want four more years of people being mean, sarcastic, overly focused on possible conspiracies....calling someone a loser if their identity is not a "winner"? This is what the leader will cause to happen because humans will reflect their leader. And we can all see that there are major challenges for democracy, for security....all around the world. America's citizens need to be focused on positive actions, slow to anger, refrain from biases or calling out someone's appearances or making fun of that....please, this behavior is not so funny, when you think of the divisions, fear and even hate that this brings on.

She flounders when asked a serious question off the cuff. She seems to just mutter whatever comes to mind while she tries to think of an answer, & in the end forgets what was asked. She just isn't quick on her feet, so to speak. The nervous cackling won't play for very long.

Yeah kinda addressed that above, the off the cuff stuff is tough for anyone, not many people at all are able to come off smooth on the fly without issues. The discussion was regarding the planned, scripted, prepared debate not the Oprah show or a beat interview.
One other comment, being that the side you support is the WORST with regard to ad lib conversation its a bit partisan and silly to try and put down Harris for her ad lib issues, it isnt like Trump is any better and he is much much worse. What to me is the analysis of one vs the other is where does the train of thought go even off the cuff and ad libbing in an unplanned situation for Harris vs Trump? Say you had ten examples of identical scenarios, both are walking down the street and both are unaware of a question they will have to face, both separately face the same question in a similar situation...now do it ten times. The analysis for me is how do these interactions go? I can tell you the quality of the person is in where conversations go, what is the path and outcome? With Harris the path and outcome are positive, uplifting, constructive and not blame oriented or jaded. With Trump it is almost completely the opposite, most any conversation he starts dives to the blame oriented conspiracy tangent wandering, no conclusion or constructive uplifting result. It is ultra rare that Trump can have an unplanned question that he stays on point with depth and finds a conclusion let alone with a positive non-blaming or conspiracy themed agenda. The way his neural pathways work is warped, selfish, blaming, wandering and of very little constructive positive value.
Not many people are able to have an unplanned deep political question and have it go as if it were rehearsed and polished, that is not the measure of the quality of the public speaker or the person IMO.

I have addressed this before and it has only been emphasized lately. She is just not a good speaker and is not quick on her feet. Her stage presence is not very good and she speaks and acts as if she is very unsure of herself or what she is saying or addressing. She is another example of how poorly someone does when they are off of the teleprompter.
Of course, she knew the questions at the debate — or some vague form of them. Any reasonable person knew, more or less, what kind of questions would be coming from that outlet.
So, her folks, just had her prepare some general answers that would work on just about any question.
Then she could just spit out that memorized ‘answer’ and veer off topic and then throw some zingers at Trump. Then it would seem as if she did a good job.
But she never can answer a question in detail or quote good numbers to back up an answer.
Look at the recent sit-down she did when the guy asked her for a couple of specifics on addressing the economy. She never answered the question. She went on about being ‘middle-class’ and the folks ‘took pride in their lawns’ gibberish.
Then says, “Right?”
Contrast that with Trump, who will sit down with anyone and can freestyle and projects a confident presence. Whether you agree with either politically, you can see a clear difference in the styles. Trump is just a much quicker speaker and can tie several subjects together effectively; Harris is a much slower speaker and gets bogged down. She simply ‘sticks to the script’; whereas, Trump can freestyle much better on a variety of topics. You can see this in how Trump often exceeds his ‘scripted’ speech and Harris is afraid to deviate from hers. Even speaking instructors have pointed out the differences in their styles.
She is all over the place and hopes some of it hits the spot.
It reminds me of the time on an exam when a guy just answered for a couple of pages all around the question because he did not know the answer and was simply hoping he might hit upon it somewhere.
When the paper came back he got a bad mark and the professor had written on it: ‘This is not right; in fact, it is not even wrong’.

This sign of unsureness and insecurity and uninformed answers was a large part of the reason she was one of the first ousted in the last primary.
But now she is ‘selected’ and not ‘elected’ — so, she has just as good a chance to win as any other Democrat really. Because enough people hate Trump and do not care who the nominee is.
Like I say, Phillips, Newsom, and RFK are the ones that should be the most upset — or even, Clinton and Sanders, etc. At least all of them are better candidates and can speak better and can address the issues better.
Look at how she handled the questions from the NABJ the other day. It seemed as if the audience and questioners were uncomfortable for her. She just laughs through the questions and dodged the questions that way.
Awkward laughter and saying, ‘Right?’ all of the time after an answer and being very indirect — are all signs of poor speaking skills and not being knowledgeable about the question being asked. People generally do not respect a person that lacks confidence. That is one reason she was not ‘elected’ the last time.
Her folks have tried to get her to be more ‘political’ with her answers and it has made her look worse. The same with Trump. His folks have obviously asked him to make a concerted effort to be more ‘political’. When he does it he sounds like he is being restrained instead of circumspect.
At this point, they should both just be themselves. Because there are very, very few people that they are going to sway with their words.
Anyone that is sitting on the fence at this point should not be voting.

Anyone who could potentially be POTUS should have no problem answering any question off the cuff. Stop making excuses for literally the worst candidate in US history. Christ the BS in here. Expect more. Demand more. These are awful candidates.

If Joe stepped down in say January, Harris wouldn't even be on the ticket. His brazen ego and payoffs for his family went to his head, the truth will come out just like the truth of Puffy P Diddy is about to ruin the whole troll world.
Why do you think Joe is on the beach in DEL every day? It's because he knows his ass is cooked, more crooked than Hillary and Bill Clinton. So many rats need to go
Love that Joe put a MAGA hat on for the kids!!
Yup that happened, no fact check needed

My comment was made towards any politician, not Harris exclusively, Trump off the cuff is like throw up he is awful at answering really any question at any time and be able to stick to a point, make a point and be clear and concise. Being folksy does not mean that it is better than someone who has a tick or a cackle or says uhmmmm or "you know" or nods their head. There are so many different ways our minds cope with processing inputs that require an immediate response it is ultra rare you find someone who does this without ANY flaws or mannerisms.
Lovely reply you made though, super job with the anger issues there.

You shouldn’t bait him there with that last line . Perhaps he does have anger issues . Your sarcastic and condescending response is not necessary in this instance .
it could lead to catastrophic circumstances .
As a moderator you should look to avoid inflammatory or instigatory language , and you should instead diffuse the situation or quell the turmoil with a more peaceful approach .
I’ve seen it happen far too often , where this sort of antagonism given to an already unbalanced psyche , can lead to dangerous and unsavory consequences , and in certain cases the ramifications of it all can affect everyone .
Provocation is the lazy and ineffective way to make positive changes occur . Just a thought .
Some people don’t need to be pushed over the edge , and instead they should be offered a strong hand to be brought back to solid footing where there is safety .
we don’t need to constantly fill each other’s gas tanks of hatred at every opportunity . Far too many ticking time bombs out there running amok . I don’t want to see anymore bloodshed out there on the streets . I’m doing my best to curb the animosity . For the greater good , and selfishly , for personal reasons , because I just can’t take the nightmares anymore .
God Bless .

God Bless .

You can stop with your baiting schtick, it is tired and has no value. His reply to ME was pointed and combative, I called it out and also gave detailed context. Your biases and inconsistencies blow up your conspiracy mod rants, you are one of the last people here to try and point out flaws of someone else.

You spoke very truthfully in your post to jesron and I agree wholeheartedly with your response to him.
Except that last line . That was unnecessary .
the opinions I expressed to you were solely pertaining to that last line .
were my thoughts in the body of that post that came after the critique of your last line something that you don’t agree with ?
I thought that was nice stuff that I wrote . No ?
