It is now obvious the reason and purpose Trump retained the documents! Each document was intended to be used to support in some form of defense in the possible charges that were coming the day he left office. On the tape the staffer  mentions Miley says you start the coup on January 6th to which he “ like he had them on a Rolodex “ to which Trump replies Wait a minute let me see here ! Well with Miley - uh let’s see here"He said that I wanted to attack Iran; isn’t it amazing?" Trump said "I have a big pile of papers, this thing just came up. Look. This was him. They presented me this – this is off the record but – they presented me this. This was him. This was the Defense Department and him," Trump said, per the clip."All sorts of stuff, pages long. Let’s see here," Trump continued. "Isn't that amazing. This totally wins my case, you know, except that it is like highly confidential, secret, this is secret information." They have plan for Iran …Not me!
Each and every document that he took and refused to return had value in a way of deflecting blame to others for his many warped decisions! I don’t doubt for second that Miley knows Trump has material that would be news breaking about the joint chiefs & the defense department! This is Trump text book 101 ….Blame, Defect, Blackmail or Payoff! These documents in his mind were his ticket to a public opinion Pardon!…..And definitely with the MAGA cult. It take very little imagination to realize each and every document had a distinct purpose regardless of what they would do to weaken our countries defense or standing in the world if declassified ! As he could give a rats @ss about that! Its all about self preservation !….Never forget John McCain was no hero “ Hero’s don’t get captured “ This is the Art of the deal.

There is no deflecting blame, Milley outright lied. Milley said Trump wanted to attack Iran. No, Milley drew up a plan to attack Iran and handed it to Trump. Trump has that plan. Am sure he kept it as proof who the liar was.

For Trump to say he did not declassify it shoots a big hole in his "I declassified all my documents" statements. He admitted he had classified docs. OK, can he posess them as a former president? Biden had several for years and he wasn't even president. Giving them back after someone else finds out is like stealing and then giving back the stolen items after someone else sees them. Your still guilty! 

And letting this out to the public is a big no-no. Legally it hurts the prosecutors case, more a political move. 

He sounded like a moron who had no place being POTUS, he was more interested in "look at me" and had no idea what the crap he was talking about.

Obama gave Woodward tons of top secret classified information for millions to read.  Nobody cared.  

Trumps indictment is all dirty politics. 

Everyone in the media knows about journalists viewing classified documents in the past.  The media just lies right through their teeth when they talk about Trump breaking the law.
