Comey was in the Oval Office the day after Flynn was canned with other top national security officials for a terrorism threat briefing.
When the meeting was finished, the paper said, Trump told the others present — including Pence and Attorney General Jeff Sessions — to leave the room so he could be alone with Comey.
Trump then complained about leaks to the media, and urged the FBI chief to lock up reporters for publishing classified information, a Comey associate said.

Days before he was fired as F.B.I. director, James B. Comey asked the Justice Department for more prosecutors and other personnel to accelerate the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election.

If you paid attention to the committee hearing. The acting FBI director said there is no need for funding or more manpower. He said the investigation wouldn't be hampered in any way.

Where do you get all this bogus infomation ?
The FBI is an agency of the U.S. Department of Justice..that's who they work for the DOJ...and that's were the funds would come from...
..and the Justice Department said that “the idea that he (Comey) asked
for more funding” for the Russia inquiry was “totally false.” said Sarah Isgur Flores, the Justice Department spokeswoman.. The acting FBI Director McCabe told the Senate Intelligence Committee just last week that the FBI did not ask for additional funding for the Russia investigation..
McCabe added that he thought the investigation didn’t need any more help:
McCabe: "I strongly believe the Russia investigation is adequately resourced."

All I know is the Dow is down $330, the Nasdaq down a buck and s quarter. "Make America great again" is not working. Trump is a fraud and too divisive. Don't blame me , I voted for Gary. This country desperately needs a REAL third party.

Notice the normal partisan replies here, nothing can be accomplished when people are more concerned about protecting their political affiliation than making the best decision for others than themselves.
Disgusting...

Actually, I think that's part of what got Trump elected. If you go back and look at Gary Johnson voters in key states, those numbers were the difference in some of them. Now if everyone who voted for Gary Johnson was okay that Trump might be president, I suppose they shouldn't be bothered because they knew what they were getting into. I do agree that the country needs a third party, but Gary just wasn't informed enough so despite being fairly likable, he wasn't the champion for the cause, in my opinion.

I totally agree. Didn't vote for Gary because of his smarts that's for sure. He didn't even know where Aleppo was and maybe being a Libertarian he didn't care. Would have been nice if he could have cracked into double digits and opened some eyes.

Since 1/20:
Dow: Up 4.45%
S&P: Up 4%
Nasdaq: Up 9%
Up a lot more since November's election night. We had one bad day and people are throwing a b!tch fit. I think we're due for a market correction.
It will really tank if his Tax reform doesn't pan out.

Isn't this normal in a forum that's title is called Politics ?
This forum only reflects today's America as seen in the United States Congress..
I agree,, with some in this thread the two system we have is polarizing and the cause of the divide. It's time for a third party ..but a good candidate is needed first ..perhaps someone with Gary Johnson's likeability and Ross Perot's persuasiveness..
Till the divide widens..

Just a lot of anonymous sources.......... All sources are... a congressional source or A congressional source with knowledge of the
matter said ..
Responding to media reports that Comey had asked
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last week for a significant
boost in resources for the agency's probe, Justice Department spokesman
Ian Prior said in an email: "Totally false."
Same here ...Sources toldthe New York Times that Mr Comey had asked the DOJ
But the Justice Department spokesman Ian Prior.denied that Comey had made the request..."Totally false,” said Prior. Comey “never made the request for more resources and money for the Russia investigations.”
and here..... according to two officials with knowledge of the discussion......said two officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.
However, Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said reports
that Comey had requested more funding or other resources for the Russia
investigation are “totally false.” Such a request, she said, “did not
happen.”
You see the reason for using fake news ?
All your cut & paste are from anonymous sources ,,hear say.. people not identified by name ..nameless unidentified sources ..
Whereas I post the name of the sources ..so the comment can be check-out for authenticity...if I can't check out your sources bona fides it makes it fake to me..you really need to check out your information better.

Where did you get your "colored" comments ?
You did not post any source
Comey's request for more resources came in a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who had not denied nor confirmed the request.
Just because Ian Prior told the Washington Examiner is "Totally false" does not mean Comey did not make the request.
is the Washington Examiner your "real" news source ?
