WHERE'S MCCARTHY WHEN YOU REALLY NEED HIM...........
I will try to enlighten you, but the Republican Party would really rather you did not bring up the subject. They are still highly embarrassed by the senatorial conduct of a drunk, that crucified a good many innocent people before being defeated in his bid for re-election, then went home and drank himself to death, which was probably his destiny all along.
The GOP would appreciate it if you no longer brought up his name, but at least now you know where he is.
P.S. The GOP would also appreciate it if forgot the names Richard Nixon and George "Dubya" Bush.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Notice "Key element" just shuts up and goes away when he has been defeated.
Another wild azz guess on your part. Is that a specialty? When I go away it is usually because the "argument" if it ever existed, has been distorted and twisted instead of remaining on an adult, mature plain of discussion. A person should not be critcized for recognizing an argument that is going nowhere and has no mature, reasonable contributors. Thank God baseball is back and the only ones left here, in this forum, will be the "Trump is always right" and "Trump is always wrong" crowds. They can form their little mutual admiration societies and tell themselves how brilliant they are for being one or the other. Partisanship reigns supreme, with no interference from mature, balanced intellects.
