Veterans day.

Thank you for your service.

Y'all enjoy tomorrow your sacrifice was not in vein.

As much as we argue about politics... sports... the politics of sports, we must never forget that we have our men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice to thank for that freedom. Thank you to all of our veterans in the covers community.

A toast to all who have served this great country and who are proudly serving now! 

Thanks to all of our great people that have served this country on this Veteran's Day and all of the other 364 days of the year!

If you know a vet, please give them a call tomorrow. I'm sure they would love hearing from you.

If you have a flag, please fly it. If you don't have one, please buy it. 

Thanks to all of those who have served as well as their extended families.

We should also take a cue from some of our covers brothers and remember that we shouldn't simply remember our veterans on one day out of the year. They need our support every day. Whether if that's donating time, money, socks, or simply just remembering to give a buddy a call to make sure his PTSD isn't getting the best of him.

You still have time today, tomorrow and every day to do something nice for our veterans.

Each Memorial & Veterans day there's a group of 40 of us who plant 18 by 12 inch flags at the gravesite of veterans who have passed.

Today only 17 people showed up. I'm assuming it is because of covid.

On the bright side, cemetery workers stopped what they were doing & picked up the slack and helped us.

I'm amazed how somber and respectful people on both sides of the aisle can be when we work together to say thanks to our heroes.
