Means little or nothing, but highly entertaining. Both VP candidates very effectively expounding on what a couple of azzholes we have running for president. Good luck, America.

Both of them actually seem like better debaters than the presidential candidates.  

They might actually be more likable and in one case definatey more competent and experienced than the people who they are running with

What was wrong with the Establishment? Both candidates showed true gamesmanship in politics, both Pence and Kaine deliver sound debate. I wish Pence is running for POTUS not Trump's running mate.

WTF, guys was spot on and confident.
How is he the under side of that ticket?
I also feel like these things are so rigged. The questions totally favor the Left ( and I am not on the right)
Pence started in on the email server and the moderator just cut him off.
WTF is up with that. The questions are so slanted towards the Left. The Right has to defend their positions while the Left is given a total free pass.

Nobody on the intellectual smarter than you Left will answer the point that the Left is given the proverbial free pass. Total joke! The supposed men of the Left cross their legs like women while Putin is a real man with testosterone.

I actually thought the moderator did a good job being in control and not favoring one side or the other. Probably one of the better jobs I've seen in the primaries and general. 

But I was thinking the exact same thing about pence.   He looked presidential rather than an crazy reality tv star.   Pence for caught up in compulsive Obama bashing but beyond that he actually sounded like a conservative and a real GOP rather than the biggest and most successful RIno of all time.   Pence had control of his emotions and temperament and stamina under pressure rather than coming unglued under pressure and pivoting into an angry emotional attack mode. 

Pence looked capable, experienced and composed.   All the traits that trump Failed do show to America and the world.

John Kasich or even Mike Pence would give HRC a run for it's money.

Doesn't appear to be much debate about who won the debate. Nearly every article has called Pence the winner and cited Kaine for his constant rude interruptions and annoying demeanor.

Even CNN had to say Mike Pence won the debate...

..and CBSN’s,,Elaine Quijano (formerly with CNN )the debate moderator was weak and unable to control the debate..after Tim Kaine interrupted Pence three times she finally told him .."let him (Pence ) finish "...5 minutes later after Kaine had interrupted Pence 13 more times the moderator said nothing ...that is til Pence interrupted Kaine for the first time  ..then she say's 'gentlemen you will have to stop talking over each other '...

FiveThirtyEight found that Kaine interrupted Pence over 70 times...

Kaine was troubled and cried about executing a criminal, but doesn’t cry about executing/aborting an unborn human being.....good so called catholic.

One thing fo shizzle Hillary doesn't have to worry about her VP running mate out shining her...lol  ....and we now know why Tim Kaine was a disaster as Gov.of Virginia...

I would have voted kasich had he won.  Rubio was probably my first choice but was willing to settle for Cruz.

I did not know much about pence prior to the presidential election but I am wondering after seeing so much of trump's incompetence and unit Temperment for presidency, for me it might having been just refreshing to see someone who might be legit. 

And I think trump's Temperment being so unfit for office, people are looking more at how they feel about the vice presidential candidates rather than what they were actually saying. It often felt like both sides were not attacking each other, but instead were attacking and defending others.   So the lack of focus on the actual content is apparent with thing like interruptions being the biggest take away

Last night when Kaine went low Pence went high...my favorite Tim Kaine comment was when he said   'He (Trump ) has called women slobs, pigs, dogs, disgusting.  I don't like saying that in front of my wife and mother.'   but he just said it in front of his wife and mother...he is the true reincarnation of Emmitt Kelly....

During the debate when Tim Kaine wasn’t interrupting everyone .. he was using canned campaign talking points .nevertheless he was a equal debate interrupter.. he repeatedly interrupted both Pence and the debate moderator Elaine Quijano....he even interrupted the debate moderator when she was asking him to not interrupt.... lmao

If nothing else he looked like he was trying to take the mantel of Debate Interrupter-in-Chief held by Joe Biden..and it appears he has succeeded...........

What does this tell you about Hillary's decision to choose such a weak candidate as he VP.., and it should scare all of us, that if Hillary is elected and has medical troubles ... Kaine would be the one taking over as the leader of the free world..scary ,very scary.. too scary.

Obviously, not Marco Rubio or John Kasich, rather Trump is the choice for the GOP hard core supporters. So most Republicans love Trump, who I agree with Bernie Sanders is a disaster. The so called Establishment, such as Mike Pence, by the Trump hard core supporters, has a decent night at the debate. On the other hand, Trump had an awful night last Monday debating with HRC. Establishment beats Trump by a mile, i guess. HRC is very likely to outduel him again on Sunday Night Debate. 

CNN Poll shows Pence won by a slim margin over Kaine last night, but i think Kaine was doing better. But i like Pence miles over Trump as POTUS.

All you need to know about CNN, the Clinton News Network, is that their poll showed a "slim" victory for Pence. He destroyed him. What would it take for a CNN poll to declare a non-Clinton a "decisive" winner---crying "uncle" ????

You got it right the first time.  This means little or nothing in the actual results of who will win because neither of these people are running for president and only make both the people running for president look worse.   I don't think there were any real "winners" here as both most focused on attacking the other side and did not give as much attention to what they are about other than opposition to the other side.  So content still seemed irrelevant to me and the debate winner is less about who had the better ideas and more about how people felt about the candidates in the end.

You people bashing Trump still don't get it. He got the nomination and he's where he's at BECAUSE of the way he is. You may disagree with him. You may think he is a pompous fool. But that doesn't change why Trump is where he's at.

I have friends and family members who are enthusiastic in politics for the first time in their lives. I've been following politics for over twenty years. Speaking of those family members and friends, if I ever tried to talk politics with them, from Clinton vs Dole to Obama vs Romney, I couldn't keep their attention for 10 seconds. Now, they are on Facebook making 5 to 10 political posts a day.

If this is the best Hillary could pick as her VP... imagine what kind of Cabinet she would pick...

Pence didn't provide an actual answer as to what he'd do about homegrown terrorism from U.S. citizens who are legitimately here.  He deflected and never provided an answer to that specific query.  Why do I care?  It matters because under a Trump presidency, he's hinted that his VP will be making a majority of the policy decisions.
