When will the Democratic Party change their name?

You guys should look up the term southern democrat, and the shift in American politics that started as early as the 50s and 60s, and was completed in 1994. This is not a defense of Joe Biden, who I view as being very much in the vain of a southern democrat, even though he is from the north. It is a challenge to put context to history. Political parties and ideologies change over time. And if any of you really think today's republican party is the party of Lincoln, and abolitionist, etc, well then you are misinformed at best.

The Clintons and Biden were very friendly with the “southern Democrat” and they’re currently at the top of the Democratic Party. 

Under FDR the Party switched platforms from trying to control black people using force (slavery, segregation, overt racism) to controlling black people using welfare. 

They didn’t switch platforms because they’re nice people. They switched platforms because if they didn’t they would lose power.

 Bill Clinton is a southern democrat himself. I used to cringe when people would call him "the first black President". How racist is that? A dude shucks and jives and plays the saxophone and all of a sudden he's black? He's an old Arkansas good ol' boy. You'd have a hard time convincing me he hasn't dropped an N-bomb or two in his day.
