He said he is not in favor of defunding police but would redirect some funding (no purchasing military surplus for example). I guess that could be considered defunding to a certain degree but I am waiting for an update/changes in his stance.

The Democratic party, if they lose this current election, will be declared a waste zone. They have had 4 years since Hillary imploded via her own wrong-doings, and their best efforts were to throw her back into the mix with Biden and Sanders. They rigged the last two voting cycles against Sanders, so that left them with Biden.

At the time I was completely disenchanted with the failures of GWB. Instead of working, he wanted to play all day. I don't know how many days Jr. spent out at the ranch, but it was months at a time sometimes. Bush Jr. was a puppet that didn't like to work. I lost respect for the R party when they chose a puppet. I also had bought into Obama's health care concepts but in the end that ended up being too harsh of an exorbitant tax on the middle to upper class.
The best the D party could offer you was Biden?

And when it is an INCUMBENT up for re-election we have THIS
KEY FACT:
In the last 10 presidential elections with an INCUMBENT president, if the president had positive approval to disapproval poll numbers, he won re-election. If he had net negative approval numbers, he lost.
Trump's net negative has levelled off at a fairly constant -9 to -10.
