Whether, Laura (Welch) Bush killed her ex-boyfriend accidentally, purposedly or negligently is irrelevant. With no disrespect to the deceased he was only 1 person. Her husband and his henchman killed tens of thousands, including 4000+ of our own for reasons known only to himself and the Anti- Cheney. What is relevant is that the well connected Welch (in Midland Texas during the 60's) was able to quash any real investigation of of the fatal car crash, where by all accounts Laura blew a stop sign and broadsided the poor former beau.
        Funny how Laura hooked up with W. who has been known to be adept at cover ups of his own. A mutual attraction or just happenstance? I dont know, but maybe one of our erudite, all knowing righties in this forum, has exclusive info regarding the topic.

She didn't walk away from the license.  She registered on inactive status....which means that she is STILL LICENSED, and can re-register to become active if she wants to, pays the higher fee and then now also complies with the CLE requirements.  She would not have to re-take the Bar exam or anything like that.

It's amazing that this isn't a major issue in the news...Just shows how corrupt the media is....she must have been doing extremely unethical things for this to have happened.  Court Ordered incacive status......something is VERY WRONG...both obama's are extremely shady characters....

The record shows that Michelle Obama "voluntarily" took her law license to "inactive" status. This is not the loss of license, but a suspension with the option (though not the requirement) to reactivate the license later.

In Illinois, voluntary inactivations require an order of the court to commence the cancellation of malpractice insurance, annual licensing fees and the continuing education credits otherwise required by law.

Per Michelle Obama's record on the Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission website, "No malpractice report required as attorney is on court ordered inactive status

he's very combatitive and is showing signs of an unhealthy obesssion with AK.....mods.....this is not good.

The stupidity here is breathtaking.

She took a job where she wasn't actively practicing law so she placed herself on inactive status.  If she had been suspended or disciplined in any way it would have become public record.

That's it.  End of story.
