Why make vaccine mandatory?

Being vaccinated doesn't stop the spread..  or prevent you from getting covid.  So why are people so worried about vaccines?

Last year at this time there was all this misinformation going around that if you got vaccinated,  it would prevent the spread of covid, and you could not get covid.  So, i got vaccinated.   After all this misinformation came to light, i dont see why people should be forced to take it.  Its obvious the vaccine makers totally botched what it was supposed to do.   

I wouldn't say vaccine makers botched it, the vaccine was very effective with the original strain. The virus mutated away from the strengths of the vaccine, its what they do. Survival of the fittest, those that could multiply in vaccinated people became dominate.

Every year the flu shot came out it was made from a strain dominate the previous year and chances are a different strain now dominate. The flu shot basically boosts weakened immune systems does not prevent the infection, same now with the vaccine.

Problem was/is when it was very clear Delta was evading the vaccines (UK reported 40% of hospitalizations were the vaccinated on July 19th) our President and CDC doubled down on get the vaccine you won't get covid, natural immunity is no good, and it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated. All obviously untrue with data available at the time.

Now we have Omicron that blows right past vaccines and masks and still some areas have old mandates in place. Vaccinated people allowed in large indoor events with just a card showing they are vaccinated yet they can spread the virus like anyone else. The data is overwhelming. WTF??

Mandates now outdated.

Nobody was wewring masks at the super bowl, despite the mask mandate.  Covid has morphed into a cold.  Vaccines dont stop the spread.  Drop the mandates, leave people alone.

California is dropping it's mandate in a day or two but nobody has been wearing masks at shows, bars, etc for a year. Restaurants just to get in the door then off. You do have to be vaccinated though. Hopefully it's the next mandate to go.

Without vaccination, there would be far more covid deaths and hospitalizations.  On top of over 900,000 excess deaths and millions of hospitalizations in the US.  Vaccine mandates work well in increasing vaccination rate and reducing severe illness in population.  Since natural and vaccine immunity don't last forever, booster shots help to restore up to 60% efficacy against infections and 90% versus severe illness. 

Contrary to anti-vaxxers claims, vaccine mandates aren't forced vaccinations.  People can choose to remain unvaccinated and limit their participation in activities such as job or international travel.  Vaccines, masks, limited gatherings and other public health measures make possible safe re-opening of economy without total lockdowns.  Experts warn that prematurely lifting public health measures could backfire or undo what has been accomplished since the pandemic is not over yet.

My goodness, are you a walking infomercial? It’s like everything that comes out of your mouth is just media regurgitation. Word to the wise, trust no one. Believe nothing you hear and half you see. Question everything. They don’t care about our health. They actually want us to get sicker = more profits. The world is a business. Look around

Thirds posts are an automatic skip. Reading this posters posts are like swallowing your own vomit, nobody wants it. This poster has to be a bot and the media wonders why people don't pay attention to them anymore and pod casters are having multiple times the viewers.

We're not forcing vaccinations you'll just lose your job if you don't. Remember the dad who lost visitation rights to see his child? We're not forcing vaccinations it's your right to chose between seeing your children or our way. 

Who the hell do you think your bullshitting? 

People have been arrested, thrown out for not wearing masks Stu, trying to downplay flaunting their own must needed mask mandated for " the greater good" not gonna work. 

We see The Los Angeles Youth Orchestra forced to perform outside the superbowl with masks on and then we see the " elites" without. It's shameful. Schools across the country forcing children to wear masks and we see this.

This is why CA is removing mask mandates on Feb 15th. They knew the SB would be highly visible and everyone in attendance would not be wearing a mask and controversy would instantly start and the so called leaders of CA would not be able to control the narritive of a mask mandate after. The real question is, why can vaxed people take their mask off but if you're unvaxed you can not? It's clear that the vax DOES NOT fully prevent infection or transmission to others, so why would the vaxed be allowed to remove the mask and unvaxed not? CONTROL! Still making people afraid because making someone afraid is gaining control.

 Logic has been thrown out this window with all of these rules and mandates. It baffles me how gullible some of these people are. You don’t need to be the smartest person in the world but for fucks sake have some common sense. It’s all bs and it’s being exposed more and more each day. 

If CA had any brains they would have followed Nevada and removed the mandates BEFORE the super bowl!!! They are not even that intelligent. And they're still forcing children to wear them in schools. 

You know I have never seen a Covid death rate fall so freaking fast as Nevada has just had. Started right before the mandates were lifted. Like they're not even counting anymore. 

No state has had a death rate fall that fast.

Stopped counting faster than the last ~25% of presidential votes.
