Insider trading at Obama's Department of Health and Human Services ...
The patients are running the asylum..
Hundreds of federal employees were given advance word of a Medicare decision worth billions of dollars to private insurers in the weeks before the official announcement, a period when trading in the shares of those firms spiked.
The surge of trading in Humana’s and other private health insurers’ stock before the April 1 announcement already has prompted the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether Wall Street investors had advance access to inside information about the then-confidential Medicare funding plan.
Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) told The Washington Post late last week that his office reviewed the e-mail records of employees at the Department of Health and Human Services and found that 436 of them had early access to the Medicare decision as much as two weeks before it was made public.
The number of federal employees with advance knowledge is surely higher; the figures Grassley’s staff compiled did not include people at the White House’s Office of Management and Budget who also saw the information. The e-mail records of those employees have not been made available to Grassley.

This should sound an alarm,” said Sen. Grassley “It should result in better controls to avoid unfair access to information that the average investor could never tap.”
No Senator,, this should result in arrest and prison sentences...

Once again: You rightys want to take back the White House through SCANDAL!
Might as well there's a whole lot of then out there..The U.S. ambassador to Belgium, Howard Gutman, ( who blamed Israel for anti-Semitism back in Jan) is suspected of soliciting prostitutes and possibly minors, according to a State Department memo.
“The agent began his investigation and had determined that the ambassador routinely ditched his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from both prostitutes and minor children,” says the memo...NYPost
Gutman was a big Democratic donor before taking the post, and being nominated by President Barack Obama... having raised $500,000 for President Obama’s 2008 campaign and helping finance his inaugural..( pay to play?)

The real story in all these scandals is the collapse of journalism..
If the media had done their job, Barak Hussein Obama never would have been elected.
You realize, of course, that if you right wing extremists did not portray EVERYTHING as being a scandal, the public would be much more likely to pay attention to the real issues.

Pretty much every every issue involving Obama is made out to be a scandal. It was similar with Bush too.
That's my point. There are plenty of logical and reasonable criticisms of both adminstrations. When everything becomes a criticism and stated as a 'scandal' it reeks of partisanship instead of reality.

Well I'm post #6 now ,but I wasn't when I first made the request .
No need to box me for asking..
But,I do agree with you though about making everything a scandal ..it does blur things..That's why I said the real scandal is the failure of journalism ..a professional press corps would inform the public in advance about the facts of an issue/or person and should hold the powerful accountable for their actions or inactions.

Maybe someday soon....... the mainstream media will finally crack. Oh wait, Bush's APPROVAL rating starting to rise above BOH's WTF?
I guess the old adage is very true that you can only lead the deaf, dumb, and blind so far before they can smell a stinking rat
I have a strong feeling those days are getting much much closer as all those walls begin crumbling down
