You have been invited to join an upcoming Covers.com Office Pool.

Message From Derrick : Hello Fellas! We're doing another Battle Forum to end the Baseball season. The first one was a success! One rule change this time. Minimum picks will be 20 for each battle. It wasn't an issue last time but we want to make sure going forward that each battle remains competitive. We increased the entry fee to $15 to offset the cost of the Trophy. Trophy will run around $50 or so. Champ will be paid 88% of the Prize Pool and Runner Up 12%. Mondo is the current Champ! Can he Repeat? Let's find out! .

Just select up to 5 plays per day throughout month long tourney ?

I think it is Max 5 or 7 picks a day from mon to sun and you must make at least 20 picks a week. I texted SmoothD to verify that.  Each battle is a week long single elimination...Send PayPal payment to nationwideloss@yahoo.com. Anyone entered but not paid by start date will not be considered an official entry. SmoothD can elaborate more on specifics (i asked him to post on contest page). Cappers are seeded according to your streak survivor winning %.  First seed plays last seed and so on.  Single elimination, if you lose your weekly matchup your out.  SmoothD does a really nice job with the commentary on each battle and makes it very enjoyable. Well worth the money spent to cap with some of the best on this site.

^ You should be allowed in, that's pretty fkin weak that greeneyeddevils told Smooth not to let you in,  everyones supposed to be adults here.

I was unaware of any of that UF, time for those guys to man up.  From what I've seen you are an active and worthy Gladiator and I will speak to Smooth on your behalf (as long as you didn't sleep with his wife or something)...lol. I want to compete against the best and you always place well...gl

Thanks...Haha nah I won't sleep with his wife.. I'm pretty sure greeneyeddevils was the only one who was a little cry baby about me playing because I questioned him on his pool once and he didn't want any drama

Basically I was trying to teach him how to use PayPal because he wasn't having the players send the money the right way and I was just trying to tell him how to do it and he didn't wanna hear it and said I wasn't allowed to play in his pools ever...lol. Has a big stick up his @ss or something.... Oh well

Appreciate you having my back... I won't post anything unless I need to... To maybe ask for forgiveness and state if I get out of line I'll kick myself out from the pool and any future pools hosted by him or GED. I think that would be fair...at least I'd be giving a chance to prove I'm not what he may think...I was only being a d*ck to GED because he disrespected me and "banned" me from all of his contests because I was trying to help him out and I guess he took it all the wrong way..

$15 dollars of fun, smooth could make it $100 and we would still get around 13-20 gladiators...that's not the point. it sucks if it doesn't work out and uf can't get in. i was unaware of the drama or i would have never posted an invite in this contest forum....my bad.

just crazy that guys will back out if UF plays, i would welcome him and wanna be matched up against him 1st and send him home if it was me. A little argument on a sports forum and guys hold grudges for life..

I know u did what u can and im not arguing with you or pissed at anyone, just immature of guys to say "im not playing if Uforce is".   Like little kids at the playground getting mad and leaving with the ball so no1 can play.  

I sent Frank a PM, if he gets back to me then we'll see what happens.

cool, well said. i don't want to hate on anyone. i just want to cap my butt off. how about those two underdogs i picked this afternoon (texas, tampa) just made a crappy week a whole lot better.

Too many guys...  Highly doubt it... Maybe 2 if that...GED and probably one of his buddies... I just don't see why it's even a problem...people need to get over themselves and stop being so childish...just like Philly said..
