There will be a cash prize to the player who most accurately predicts the Super Bowl. You must post your prediction on this forum thread no later than October 1. Here's the deal:
Predict the winning and losing team and the final score of the Super Bowl, for example:
San Francisco 34 Denver 31
The winning player will be decided as follows, tiebreakers as needed:
1. Predict the winning team.
2. Predict the winning and losing team.
3. Predict the winning and losing team, and predict the total points scored in the game without exceeding the actual total points scored in the game.
4. Predict the winning and losing teams, the total points scored in the game without exceeding the actual total, and the margin of victory without exceeding the actual margin of victory.
5. If a further tiebreaker is needed (which would be stunning) the player with the highest overall winning percentage for the entire season will win the prize.
Again - In order to qualify you must post your prediction on this forum thread no later than October 1. This gives everyone four weeks of regular season football to make their prediction. If your prediction is not on this forum thread, or is posted after October 1, it will not count.
The amount of this cash prize will be set after we have a total prize pool amount, and will be posted on the prize schedule after the Week One kickoff.
