I'll be Posting a few Payout Options for everyone to vote on like i always do.. I wanna wait a few days in case theres any late entries.. 4 guys said they wanted to play but still havent Paid so i'll wait a few more days.. 

Please read the other Thread with the rules in it, in case of a tie at end of 1HALF will we use Winning % or the two guys can Split it if they want to. 

Thanks to all of you who participated & we have two new guys who joined us...

Just noticed on the NBA pool Philly has going that there is no prize for 3rd place. With the money we're paying it is ridiculous 3rd place doesnt merit a cash prize. Should you decide to do it again for this pool, count me out from all future pools. Good luck to all.

I like the 750/350/100....feel 3rd place should get their $$$ back.

Exactly. And the 1st & 2nd place percentages need to be out there before anyone signs up. Just tell us before we start what the parameters are. 3rd place either gets their money back or they don't. No surprises.

WTF are u cryin about Nobrainer ?

u come outta the fkin blue with nonsense, i post payouts for everyone to vote on in every pool i do. Theres never surprises so chill with the comments.  

When theres only 10-12 guys in a pool im not paying 3rd unless its voted on in beginning of pool. U act like this is new, u been playing in my pools for a few years now.

If ur having a bad day take a breather dude, dont come at me with BS. 

Il post a few payout options to be voted on & everyone gets a say, majority wins just like last 20 pools..

And in the NBA pool we all voted, more guys chose C which was 1st & 2nd, u chose A which was 1st, 2nd & 3rd.. u should of spoke up then and i would of changes it.. i cant change it a week away from pool ending.  

If majority wants a 3rd place payout then fine but all its gonna be is the buy in back at best. With only 12 guys in pool i think 3rd is unnecessary and so do alot of others or A wouldve got more votes. 

If u chose not to play in future pools cause 3rd place isnt getting $100 then thats ur choice.. I try and please everyone but im always gonna have someone unhappy. 

I thought voting was best and fairest, i cant control what guys vote on.. Obviously majority didnt want a 3rd in NBA. Links below, take a looksie to refresh your memory

And the % thing i forgot to include in rules and only refers to a TIE Nobrainer, last pool we had a Tie and there werent any tie-breakers in place... 

Theres never any surprises as i list all the rules in the Pm i send to everyone...

Wish u wouldve brought this to my attention alot sooner..

That's fine Philly. With only $1200 I can understand the reluctance to have a 3rd place prize. Absolutely. Not enough to go around. So be it. Why don't we raise the entry to say, $150, pull in $1800, and then say, well, we only have 12 players. Are you kidding me?

I bring up a legitimate concern as an equal shareholder and get berated for it by the commish? Not very professional, Brian. We're not playing $25 contests anymore. Send my money back. I'm not waiting around for a vote.

Sent u a text Nobrainer, sorry if it came across dik-ish like.. I just don't like the assumptions that theres surprises in my pools like i add stuff as we go. All rules are listed in Pm & in thread, i only added the Tie-Breaker cause Jaysvdubwhat & Utopia tied last pool and technically Jays won cause his Win% was higher but there wasn't any Tie-breakers in rules so that was my fault.

All pools go by Units, in case of a Tie its Win%.

As far as prizes go i can see your point, i dont mind doing 3rd.. Its whatever u guys want,  i do these for the competition & for u guys,  i dont get nothing outta these & 100% of pot is paid out. 

It takes hours sending out Pm's to everyone & creating the pools, u gotta check schedules + figure out start n stop dates.
 Alot goes into it..

My apologies if i came across wrong.  

PAYOUTS FOR THIS POOL WILL BE:

1st:  $750

2nd: $350

3rd: $100

** If Nobrainer  still doesnt want to participate il adjust to 700/300/100

You misconstrued my comment about surprises, Brian. It was nothing you did, you've  always been on the up and up. I was surprised by the votes, which I hadn't seen until yesterday when I realized  I'd been busting my butt for nothing in the NBA pool. With that said, and seeing the payouts here, I'm still in. Thanks.
