Pillsbury, time to wrap up the competitors from "The Cow Pasture with Lights" as it was once described to me by a state employee in Indianapolis.

Out of curiosity I looked up for farmers only .com.  It's an actual website for farmer dating I laughed my behind off I've never heard of such a thing. I can see that turning into a saturday night live skit. Where the farm hand meets a girl and hits her with a hard core horse tranquilizer,maybe with a Bill Cosby spin ?

Damn Pills, the dirt must be really awful in Massachusetts. They run TV commercials for FarmersOnly.com on Braves broadcasts here in Ga. (They are really missing their market by not running them on UGA games, but those are probably expensive.....maybe the re-runs,) I'm not positive, but I think you and I joined Wagerline (yes, that's what it was before Covers, whippersnappers) before Mondo and Ds0589 were born. Anyway, it looks to me like Luck has run out for Indiana (and Indianapolis) this year.

Yeah not much farming going on in these parts, but we do have an interesting website here called  where gang bangers meet, it's a little more catered to the youth in this area, where crips can meet bloods and arrange shootouts and other gang related activities without endangering others !!  

Ahhhhhh the old wagerliner days, yes sir I was a wagerliner back in the day and certainly remember you from then, I remember being up in arms when the change over took place but this site has become an amazing wealth of sports handicapping knoladge, thanks for that little trip down memory lane 

Looking forward to getting this thing underway I know I'll have some very solid competition as Mondo has been firing on all cylinders lately !!

Northern Indiana. A long way from indy and although farmers only intrigues me I'm still getting it done the old fashioned way. I work in Chicago, not much corn there. I lived in virginia for 12 yrs, way more corn and farms there believe it or not...

Yeah, a 12-1 run qualifies as firing on all cylinders in my book. 

Where gang bangers meet......now that sounds like fun!!

So, Mondo takes his yacht across the lake to work every day from Gary.That's commuting in style. Such is the life of a Battle Forum Champion. If I win, I'll have to get a pontoon boat for lake Alatoona.

Twelve years......that would be my life in Jupiter, FL. A really nice place but so hot and humid.

Lol. Big lake is too polluted. Google marcellus, mi. 36 lakes within 6 miles...that's how we roll. Awesome fishing this year...gives a man some time to think about football.

PILLSBURY VS MONDO PREVIEW

This is most certainly going to be an epic clash. We have the upstart Pillsbury going up against the Battle Forum veteran and former Champ Mondo. Mondo is trying to become the 1st Gladiator to appear in 2 Finals so history is on the line here. 
Pillsbury has been baking up some evil biscuits. He started in the 1st Round where he was one of the top finishers. That led to a date with another Battle Forum Rookie WBellhaven. It was a brutal battle but Pillsbury was locked in and overcame a difficult challenge from WBellhaven. Now Pillsbury is one step away from the Ultimate Battle but this wont be easy. He has the legendary Mondo in his way that he will have to get past.

Mondo is the former Champ and when he is locked in he's difficult to stop. Mondo breezed through that 1st Round like a Walk-in-the-Park. He faced a tough challenge in the Canadian Rookie Thedeakon but despite's Thedeakons efforts he simply didn't have enough when Mondo turned on the afterburners. Mondo went an incredible 12-1 in that battle. It was something to behold and Thedeakon even though he tried, just couldn't keep up with that pace. 

So now here we are. Pillsbury must be prepared to air it out because Mondo is in rare form right now and unless you're prepared to go balls to the wall you may be going home. At the same time Mondo can't afford to take Pillsbury lightly because he will be baking up some serious batches of bad cookies and biscuits. Mondo might bite off more than he chew. We will see how this battle turns out.

PILLSBURY DRAWS FIRST BLOOD!

Pillsbury drew first blood last night in this Semifinal clash. Mondo was mysteriously silent as Pillsbury took advantage of his silence by pummeling him repeatedly. Pillsbury fans went crazy as they waved their Pillsbury doughboy hats. You could hardly hear yourself think they were so loud. How will Mondo respond? Is he doing the rope-a-dope or did he just check out. No matter what Mondo did or didn't do one thing is clear, this will be a battle to the finish!

MONDO-PILLSBURY MIXING IT UP GOOD!

Mondo is getting more than he bargained for in another tough battle. Pillsbury is going toe-to-toe with Mondo to let him know that this will not be a cake walk. Meanwhile Mondo is looking to get back to the Championship Final and have a shot at becoming the first 2 time champion in the Battle Forum. Pillsbury meanwhile is looking to spoil some of Mondos plans and is giving him more than he bargained.

I feel like such a greenhorn playing on Atlanta last night,  such a no play game and if you are crazy enough to play it. The saints is the obvious play.  It hit me like a ton of bricks somewhere around kickoff

MONDO DEFEATS PILLSBURY!

Mondo defeated Pillsbury in a hard fought Semifinal matchup. Pillsbury lost 2 games because of the hook on Sunday. That hook will kill you every time it seems. Pillsbury had a rough 2nd week going only 3-6 meanwhile Mondo went 9-5 to gain the victory. 

Mondo now returns to the Battle Forum Championship for the 2nd time. He is attempting to become the first Gladiator to win a 2nd Championship.
