I have to ride with Voloquez in this game. he is an outstanding young pitcher, and the reds are in desperate need of a win having lost 5 straight.

Agree, Volquez pitched well in his last outing.  The Cubs' offense has been good but Lilly is once again inconsistent and did not pitch well the last two.  I'll go Reds.

Again here, don't go against streaks this early.  Cubs are lighting up Reds pitching like a christmas tree.  Lilly should snap out of his funk I believe, but Volquez is still a young kid who is going to taste the furry of the windy city, wind blowing out 2 days in a row = runs. Reds are coldddddd

pitching favors the reds in this one, but lilly isnt a bad pitcher and hitting definetly favors the cubs right now, even with the leadoff man on the DL they put up double digits,  im stickin with the cubs till they give me a reason not too.  Also the i just dont think +120 is enough to entice me to take a bad cincy team.

The situation, however, favors the Reds. Here's why: they have lost 5 in a row, are on the road and they have a pitcher with an ERA under 1. (He has pitched 10 1/3 innings and given up only 1 run.)
 
Converseley, the Cubs are sending a pitcher to the bump that has an ERA over 5.
 
This road situation is extremeley in favor of the Reds at an amazing 86 to 33 clip over the past 10 seasons.  
 
And what's even worse than that, the linemakers know tht but they are getting greedy and raking in alot of dough raising the price of the Cubs higher, and preying upon the public's perception of the Cubs being a dominant team today. 
 
The Cubs bullpen better be ready to help out in this one

I like the cubs again also. even -1.5 run +150 moneyline. Lilly bound for a good start.

He didn't allow a run in his latest start, when he was limited to five innings due to a rain delay in Pittsburgh on Friday. Baker, however, was more than satisfied with the performance of his 24-year-old right-hander.

"Volquez pitched outstanding," Baker told the team's official Web site.

Key: He only went 5 and has only 1 out. Cubs can put up runs in a hurry. Cubs for me, until they cool off.

Cub Team Total 4.5 taking the over, wind still blowing out at game time, I'll hammer it some more.
