Portland will have no answer for Orlando. Orlando has proven to be very focused team, reliable road wager thus far-Portland gives me no reason to think they will cover 5-or maybe even up to 11-13 for that matter. They have no size on that team-D Howard will dominate-we're only talkin 2.5 buckets here-All over this-Great value in spread-I think Orlando is a little under the radar still-only losses to SA,PHEONIX,DET-handled every body else good,Portland just broke their slide, loss of a sense of urgency/desperation will be noticed.

If they can beat Dallas, Detroit, and New Orleans at home as a dog, then why should Portland not be able to cover against Orlando? Orlando comes in after destroying two teams that are 9 and 17 collectively (Miami and Charlotte). Orlando is overvalued because of those wins. Matter of fact a lot of Orland's road wins have come because of great timing.
They played New Jersey without Vince, new Orleans without Chris Paul, Washington with gimpy Gilbert, New York without well, c'mon it's the Knicks, Minnesota with no one playing there worth mentioning.
So why then is it inconceivable that Portland can't cover against them? Portland has played a tougher schedule, and the kids are growiing up fast. They are also a better free throw shooting team than the Magic. So if those threes aren't falling...
Defensively, Orlando gives up 98.1 points on the road, and 97.3 overall. Portland gives up 92.3 points a game at home and 98 overall. This spread is smoke and mirrors. believe half of what you see some and none of what you hear...
Portland+ a half unit. Portland 1st half as well
I also like the under as a light option. Portland gives up 92.3 points at home, and Orlando gives up 98.1 points on the road, the total of which adds up tp 189.6. Offensively Orlando scores 104.9 on the road, and Portland scores 97.3 per game at home which adds up to 202.2 (no wonder where the total for the game came from) 189.6 subtracted from 202.2 gives a balance of +12.6 points over what the teams actually give up defensively for a contest where they face each other in this scenario (Orlando on road, Portland at home). The advantage goes to the under in this case.
Portland is where Orlando was last year. They control the clock and make moves toward the end of the shotclock. Channing Frye is re-learning how to pick and pop, opening things for Aldridge to operate down low or the top of the key. there have been learning curves for the kids.
