if -5 looks good and -4 even better...why is no points bet look bad? if you are so sure that your team will win and cover why don't you take a no point bet (even at 4 to 1 odds)? just a thought...

Because we still can't be "sure" that they'll win. In a case where a ML is -220 to win $100 with "no points" it's just not worth laying $220 to win $100...at least in my opinion, and many, many other sports bettors minds.
Your better off laying a few points at -120 or -130. Laying that kind of money, even on a good favorite, is no guarantee. And will cost big loses over the long run.
