The Rams make me nervous in this one as a current +4 home dog but it's more because they are facing the AZ Cards who are w/o the ritired Kurt Warner and must depend on a different QB for the first time in a few years. I almost think it's worth a shot taking STL+4 here but recommend the Under 40 for the game instead. If I had to pick a side I'd take STL+4. Both teams will struggle on offense.

Cardinals have no QB. They do however, have a under rated running back. I like Wells to carry them to victory but not sure if they will cover with the Rams at home.

Leinhart was giving me the shivers. Thank the good Lord they released the damn liability. With that said see 'Zona finding a way to cover against a team they are very accustom to giving habitual beatings- year in & year out- No change here. Cardinals big- "5" UNITS,PAL!!

Cards D is underrated IMO. I am very happy leinart is gone , and I think anderson will fill in well. He's got the swagger to carry the team, just hope he can become a little more accurate.
I think cards win big. But I am sorta biased.

Hard to pull the trigger against the Cards here, with a ROOKIE QB making his 1st NFL start in regular season ! No doubt Bradford will be a great QB in this league, but not yet ......
Cards -4 / not sure about the total yet, its down to 38.5 now ?

ARI -4 - (.5units) people are betting like they already know the score, i'll take the team with somethng to prove....that there is life after Warner. Cardinals 24-Rams 14

GOING TO GO WITH THE ROOKIE QB HERE. WITH THE SUPPORT OF ALL THE FANS HE WILL GET IT DONE. NOT TO MENTION JACKSON WHO MIGHT HAVE HIMSELF A GOOD YEAR. BANK IT!

Rams are gonna be better than people think, they will have a decent defense and a strong Offensive Line. Should help Jackson have another awesome year. I think the Rams play well in their opener and get a win here.
Rams 28, Cards 24
Rams +4

Rookie QB's don't win very often on opening day. Especially with an O line that let him get hit every other play in the pre season. He did look solid when he had time to throw......but Zona should find a way to win this one, before letting backers down this season and failing to make the playoffs.

A FOOL and his money soon shall part....To have it part sooner take the RAMS...ARIZ -4 for me and the Defense will get 1 or 2 scores here to put the game outta reach then everyone will say " It was the RAMS".

Strong Offensive Line? I find that statement offensive - Sam is going to get pounded. He may be good someday soon but not in Week 1.

Brand new rookie #1 pick QB gets a $2.88 million roster bonus this month and if he isn't cut by 2011 season start gets $17.974 million bonus! Plus his salary of $320k this year. So he will make more money this year than Tom Brady's new $18 million per year contract.
For a guy who hasn't taken a NFL snap yet that's a crazy all in bet by STL.
Hell ... he hasn't even had the chance to WATCH a NFL game from the sidelines, and the last real game he played in was Oct 2009 vs Baylor.
In preseason, he did well though but... as everyone knows the regulars don't really go full out in preseason, and the defenses aren't going to give away any secrets.
The only good thing for Bradford is he can't do much worse than last season's dead last finish in the league for off yards and one win season.
On the otherside, Derek Anderson last started for the Clev Browns in 2007 and had a rating of 86. He ain't no Warner and he is old and slow. Not a good combination.
Fun game to watch just to see the May/Dec QBs play.
Bottom line is I expect Rams to run Jackson and Bradford to throw an int or 2. Billy Davis will be able to confuse the new QB. This ain't Oklahoma vs Florida anymore (by the way Sam lost that game in 2009 with 26-41 passes 2 tds and 2 INTS)
Rookie QB in his 1st NFL game? Playing on a team that had the worst record last year and one of the worst defenses? Against last year's NFC west champions for the last 2 years? (AZ beat Packers in wild card only to lose to the Super Bowl Champion Saints in 09)
Gotta take AZ -4
