Chicago is tough at home and Atlanta sucks on the road.. should be an easy play, but they never are..

O.K. everybody, let's look at the matchup:

Yes, Atlanta is a "dome team" - but does that matter when it's 78 degrees and sunny outside which is what the weather prediction is?

Chicago has an excellent rush defense - too bad the Falcons are a pass first team. They should be throwing all over their weak cover guys.

Any team with a halfway decent defense will easily confuse Cutler into throwing picks. Cutler is a lot like Favre was, he thinks he can just keep slinging the gun and something great is going to happen. If the Falcons score first and early, watchout! It might be a 5 pick day.

I predict Falcons 35 Bears 13 - or something along those lines. I can't play the over/under just because I don't think Chicago will be able to score and rack up enough points, but maybe the Falcons do? Oh well, good luck everybody.

Falcons are going to come out strong and end strong.

Im excited to see how Julio does this year. Ryan, White are going to be deadly again this year.

anyone remember how everyone talked about how shitty the bears field was last year???  im sure it didnt change much during the off season.  bears is def the lean.  love fading teams that everyone lets teabag them during the offseason.  dont care if its +3 or a pick em... bears are my lean...

i hear all the love for atlanta this season and i cant help but think about all of the love for the texans last season.

• Bears defense has only allowed an average of 10.7 points in home openers dating back to 04'
• The under in 7-0 in Bears openers under Lovie Smith
• Bears are 5-1 in last 6 home openers ( the one loss was in overtime to the Buc's in 08')
• Falcons have lost their last 4 road openers

Soldier fiels turf has been replaced and is very patchy. It will not be a fast surface to play on. Bears will play stingy D and  eat clock by feeding the ball to Forte.

I'll take the Bears getting points and home and the under.

i watched the bears starting o-line let Cutler get his ass kicked in pre season ... they couldn't score and their starting d-fence was marginal at best

everyone talks about last year and the bears playing great and so together, do ya have to be reminded that was last year. Roy williams no answer at wr, lost starting center, o-line looks like crap, defense is older not necessarily faster.  Plus Mr Cutler loves to through the INT, ATL will control ground with Turner, and throw to 3-4 wr/te. Roddy Whit has a big game here and Julio Jones grabs at least 1 td, will be a good game but in end ATL-2.5 I believe is the call. Special teams becomes a nonfactor in this one with Hester.

idiot - line is set well and has moved due to fantasy fans and their complete ignorance of the game.  Close game to come for sure, 2nd half adjustments will be key.  I like CHI to win - probably due to a good spot or two.

I'll take ATLANTA +8.0 on teaser. I think the game will be close, but who the hell knows. The majority of today's games will be difficult. I think the BEARS will regress and the FALCONS should be the same power that they were last year before they met the PACKERS in the playoffs.
