this is a tough spot for the texans.. the falcons are solid against the run and lets face it matt ryan i think is a little better then yates..haha Falcons are a different team on the road though but they win here cause of their defense..defenses travel well, offenses dont.. falcons 21-17

are the Texans really going to try to win this game with TJ Yates? i'm surprised they didn't go out and find somebody else this week... that teams needs a QB, and Yates ain't it!

I think they did find some1.. But how is a new qb that has no experience with the texans offense, going to do any better than TJ Yates? Plus only one week to learn the offense if they do decide to bring someone in!!! Man good luck.

This game is all about Balls this week and Kubiak aint got none. Kubiak in order to win is going to have to let Yates sling it due to what somebody already mentioned, Atlanta's ability to stop the run. Kubiak aint got the balls and will try to win this with the defense. He got lucky last week thank god ( I had Houston) and the defense was able to outlast the shitty JAgs offense. This wont be the case Against Atlanta. Kubiak if he manages to get a lead will sit on it and that will be that for Houston. All because Kubiak has a vagina. I am thinking about the under also. In doesnt make sense how this guy became an NFL coach. IT baffles the mind. IT will be the coach who loses the game for the Texans not the 3rd string QB.
Atlanta for the large.

8 of 15 passed competed 70 yards .. he beat Tebow stats in his first week and Tebow won 5 games so far
Houston running game better than Atlanta
Houston defense way better than denver... Denver trying for 6th straigth win
Atlanta on the road...I am not impressed with them on the road... lost to chicago and TB ..barely win against Seattle ... win against detroit by 6 and beat the Colts by 32 Tds...
I will take my chance .. Houston.... and oh oh delhomme to sug with the Texans ....

There is no way houston wins this game. I am a falcon fan and am very impressed with our run d... we can be passed on but yates wont do it... and hell throw delhomme in there, grimes and robinson would be loving life seeing balls thrown right to them... matt ryan has been very good as of late and actually completing some of his deep balls..
falcons for sure

So, the Texans hire Jake Del Hammy to "Help" with Rookie T.J. Yates??
DEAR GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's like bringing water to a hurricane!!
That's like bringing gasoline to a forest fire!!
What's Jake possibly going to teach this kid? How to get picked off when you throw into quadruple coverage?!?!? How to epically fail at the QB position?!?!?
O.K. - you all know me, and I'm usually about the "next man up" but c'mon there are limits. Two weeks ago, this guy was getting Leinart's Gatorade for him..........
O.K. - the kid did look decent last week, I'll give you that, but c'mon - that was against the 'just fired our coach" Jaguars. Not the #2 ranked "D" against the run Falcons....
No way, I just don't see it - and at -1.5???? I think it's an early Vegas Christmas Present. Matty Ice will carve this "D" like a leftover Thanksgiving turkey........
Dirty Birds - - and as Vue would say - -
Major Wager!!!!!!!!!!!!

Texans win outright... Matt ryan most overrated player in nfl... face it he sucks... Watt, Barwin, Reed una bury his ass. Screen game and BEAST rushing attack will be more than enough, and its guna set up the play-action nice. Texans have beast tight ends, and a very solid O-Line...... Texans crank out another one.... All day.

And yea, all you assholes thinking atlanta-2.5 is a lock, your paycheck is going into my pocket.... 2.5 less than a fg?!?!?! Toooooo Easy..... Texans win. Ryan sucks, hes a drew brees, great indoors in dome playing arena ball.... put him on a real field against the leagues best d and watch him get murdered.

It might be a "Major Wager" for you Quad, but for me it's a no play. If it weren't for the Schaub injury, the Texans would be handing them their asses. I'm a little uncomfortable wagering on an Atlanta team with it's horrendous road record.

What is this? Green Bay? Gillette Stadium? Soldier Field in late December? Isn't Reliant Stadium technically a "dome"? Sunday's forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms - so, I'm sure that means close the roof up and it'll be a nice temperature controlled indoor stadium. We would want George H.W. Bush to get his hair wet, now would we?
Now, I agree that the Texans "D" will get theirs - there is no question and we all agree on that. But, because Atlanta's so great at stopping the run, even with Arian Foster, that means this untested rookie is going to have to throw at some point. I think that one factor right there is enough for Atlanta to squeeze out a win.
Vue, I am rethinking my "Major" on the "Wager" - but I still gotta take HotLanta.
Good Luck My Brothers.............

HOUSTON ftw here. People think a QB will make them fall, but i tell you that ATL sucks on the road just as much as Houston having a rookie QB. Look around the leage, rookie QB's been hot and they are on fire. Houston will shine just as much as them. Pound the Houstons for some $$$$, fall back on the PUBLIC!

LOL, i can't wait to take your money big mouth!
You're going to bet your welfare check on a team with a QB who hasn't even thrown a TD pass yet? NICE!!

Alright everyone just relax. Matt Ryan does not suck. Kid is a gamer and for some reason a few of you are unwilling to admit.
Take a deeper look into Atlanta's D against the run and what do you see...they have gone up against either average RB's (Indy, Detroit, Minnesota w/o AP, Titans and their CJ enigma, Seattle before beast mode became BEAST MODE) or teams that do not run the ball much (Saints, GB). Other teams such as Carolina, Philly, Chicago, and Tampa Bay have all ran the ball well against the Falcons D. The Colts, yes the Colts ran for 81 yards against this amazing run D. Look beneath the numbers and you will see that this book's cover is misleading. That is not to say that their run D is bad, just that it is not as good.
If I were to wager on this game, I would go with the Texans and their D/running game. All yates has to day is manage the game. Full week of practice with 1st team, kid will do just fine.
Still not worth a bet though....

WE all know the Matt Schuab is out for the Texans , but they dont need a Qb with that power running game.Foster and Ben Tate will run all over Atlanta. TJ Yates will just do little dink and dunk passes mostly enoug to convert on 3rd down or let their power denfense take over . Texans +1 to +3 (whatever you can get ) here
