Like Min here too, they'll put the pressure back on Chicago for Monday night. Atlanta coming off back to back division rival games is set up for a let down.

I love the way some people think. Where do you come up with these theories? Atlanta hasn't gotten "spanked" in any game since losing 24-9 to the Panthers early in the season. Also what does the fact of playing back to back division opponents have to do with absolutely anything that happens in this weeks game?
How bout we look at how the teams matchup instead of all this gimmick crap.
To each their own, though.

As i posted on the Falcons boards, I would be very shocked if the Falcons dont win this game by double digits.
All i have to say is look at the competition. Vikings play DET twice and struggled both games. Then let up 48 points to Chicago lol. Come on there division is horrible.
Vikings allowed 38 sacks this season thats one of the worst. Falcons only 14.
Abraham anyone ?

Clearly written by a scoreboard watcher, not a game watcher.
Those 48 they let up to the Bears included 14 of the stupidest special teams plays you will ever see, a punter dropping the snap, and the ball hitting the returner making it live.
And oh yea, the other time they played the Bears they destroyed them 34-14.
Vikes are 5-1 at home and the lone loss was a choke job to the Colts, the dome makes visiting teams play worse, it's partially the noise.
The reason not to bet on the Vikes this week is no Pat Williams. They still have Kevin Williams and Jared Allen though, so the running game ATL relies on will not be what Ryan is used to having. The cover 2 and Allen's pass rush will contain Roddy White.
Meanwhile, the Faclons D is average, and Peterson is running possessed right now. Berrian provides big plays often, and of course Peterson can break one off at anytime.
All it takes is a few sacks, run stuffs, or false starts from the noise to cause the long yardage situations that will kill an offense, and expect a few.
Take the Vikings

If you think Minn win this game then there is no pressure for the Bears Monday Night. Minn clinched the Division with a Win or Bears lost.

Pat Williams is their main run stuffer, and with him out & Michael "Burner" Turner rushing, and with dicey Tarvaris at the helm (and don't start showing me stats of what he's done the last 2 weeks against "pathetic" Detroit & "not playing for anything" Arizona, because I still think he looks like a scared chicken out there) I gotta think the Dirty Birds win.
And yes, I did take the Cards last week, technically they were still playing for something - but I should have known - it's the freakin' Cards!!!! - Football's Chicago Cubs!!!! So, shame on me.....

i think the over is smart money to the pocket. two great running backs actually mean lots of passing yards, odd but sensible. both defenses trying not to let the backs run crazy, 1 rookie qb and the two on the other side bot suspect at best, both coordinators will demand the run be stopped. matt ryan has proven 2 be more than sufficent hittin deep balls, and my humble opinion states the vikes will be "on" this week passing as well. true it could be either jackson or gus, but nothing substitutes adrenaline and the metrodome will have plenty. add to the fact that i beleive both backs will have big days, the only obvous here is alot of point. this aint 17-10 buddy, hell no, not with a nfc playoff spot at risk. a shootout and money to those who believe

I have often disagreed with some of your opinions ...but this is ridiculous...WTF does the last 3 games average scores have to do with anything...No wonder you always lose bro.....Cmon get a little clue here...
Falcons have to win to continue the hunt ... Vikings hurt huge by Williams being out...Falcons playing well on the road and Minnesota is pretty predictable on Offense... Like the Falcons on the ML here to come away with a tight win. Better division and Ryan is the rookie of the year..
