i am shocked that this line isnt more like sd -1/-2 ish.
 
this could be a trap, but im falling into it.  i'll take the falcons +5.5 here.

yeah, im liking the Falcons big time here as well. SD is completely demoralized this year.  Not sure what their issue is cept key injuries

This one should come down to a field goal but with a whacky line and Atlanta a little unpredictable, who knows.  San Diego may have a big day on the ground keeping this one close. Laying my money on the over.

Watch out in this game Dirty Birds 2-3 on the road with one of those wins coming against Oakland.  Chargers not done yet in the whacky AFC west if they win out with games against Atlanta, Oakland, Kansas City, Tampa and another shot at Denver they can still win their division not totally impossible.  They are only two out with one of their final games against leader Broncos.

SD drops 2 at home? I don't buy it.... they are still good even if their coach doesn't know how to finish a game...

It's very tempting to fade SD here, but you make a good point. I think SD gets the win. Not sure it's by 5. I'll probably sit this one out, because that -5 sure looks like a trap to me.

If Norv Turner calls plays the way he did against Indy?  Hell yes the under looks good.  He's afraid to floor it for some reason.

The Under?  Ouch! Atlantas air it out offense versus the WORST pass defense in the league. Roddy White has field day. This ones goin over fellas!  ATLANTA and OVER for me!

First of all, Turner is back in SD. He is going to light up that defense. There is no second or third or anymore to talk about. That is all.

i think this games got all the makings of the philly and saints games this week, public pounding road dogs (GB and ZONA) who on paper look better than who they're facing (NO and PHILLY).

don't burn your money on the falcons, sd wins by 2 td's and becomes the most dangerous 5-7 team in the league

falcons will look outmatched by a veteran team, despite the lack of any coaching whatsoever

I'll tell you what's wrong with betting the Chargers . . . about 4 things.

1)  Norv Turner . . . enough said?

2)  That offensive line is not very good at all and it was pretty obvious when they couldn't move the ball on the Colts.

3)  L.T. is struggling, not just because of the foot, but because Lorenzo Neal is gone and that's a big, big deal.

4)  As already mentioned above, the books just love to give the Chargers too much credit week in and week out.

On top of that, Matt Ryan's completion percentage is at %60, the Chargers give up even more points a game than Atlanta does, and I'm not buying into any theory that they won't arbitrarily lose two in a row at home.

They're 4-7 guys.
2 games behind the Broncos in the West. . . the Broncos.

They're just not very good.

And they're gonna' lose this game.

I THINK ATLANTA WILL ESTABLISH THE RUN AND THAT WILL OPEN UP THINGS FOR MATT RYAN . WITH TURNER RETURNING TO SAN DIEGO HE'LL WANT MAKE A STATEMENT.. FALCONS +5

When will Public realize how terrible the Chargers are this year...?
 
From the head coach Turner to the waterboy, they are just plain awful. Everything Angrytiger says above is all true...
 
Fading chargers this year has netted a nice profit (except for that crazy game in pitts !)
 
my homemade line was Atl +2, so taking +5 was an easy call for me.
 
Even considering that Atlanta doesnt play as well on the road, i am taking Atlanta's Turner to beat the Bolts at home.
 
This game, in my opinion, has the best chance for an upset.

a dome team going to san diego ?????   ANY TEAM THAT GOES TO SD WOULD NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  I REALLY DONT THINK PLAYING A GAME IN 70 TO 75 DEGREE WEATHER IS A BAD THING.

I'm on Falcons and the under.  Both teams are going to be guarding their goal line hard and if birds can't win they will at least be in by 5.
