Finally the oddsmakers give the Falcons a line they can cover.  Falcons don't fuck around at home.

please don't get distracted by the 17-1 at home record for matt ryan because if you pick it apart and analyze the victories, it turns out to be a misleading stat.  peep out the 1 loss- vs. the Broncos ( AFC Team ).  this Falcons team was overrated going into this season and remains to be one of the most overrated squads.  Last week they were ridiculous favorites vs. division opponent Bucs and were lucky to have escaped w/ a victory because Bucs couldn't pound it in from the 1-yard line.  They have yet to have an impressive victory this year. They struggled and lost vs. Steelers w/ a backup QB.  They barely managed to beat the lame ass 49ers at home.  They had alot of trouble in Cleveland before they managed a comeback victory. And do not forget what they did the week before their BYE-  nearly blew a huge lead to Cincy!!!

But what happened when they played against potential playoff teams? -  they lost to the Steelers w/ a backup and they got CRUSHED by Philly.

Ravens win this game by 2 scores and screw Atlanta homers as well as people teasing ATL to +5.

I had the falcons last week when they should have covered vs tampa and was my only looser of the day.  that being said I watched just about every play as well as several other games the falcons have played, They have a solid offense that will be able to put up some points on baltimore, BUT they have EXTREMLY UNDERSIZED CORNERS!!  unlike the doplhins who were able to slow the ravens down some ATL will not be able to handle these big agressive wide outs from baltimore.. love baltimore slight lean to the over..

My lean is turning to a push.. given that both teams had a short week to prepare the nod goes to the offenses here.. and I think the short weak favors the better defense of the ravens so ravens and over will be the play..

Finneran and White are dinged so that probably means a lot more of Burner Turner, and constant running isn't going to beat Balty.

and has any matchup of the 2 dirty birds ever gone over 43.5?

Going with the home team here.  Lots of love on here for Balt, ATL didn't look too good against TB last week.  Thinking they show up for Thurs night football.  ATL -1 and maybe small bet on over.

RAVENS +1.... The raven's defense is only allowing an average of 15.2 pts per game. The falcon's are also banged up with injuries. Love the under in this game also.

can only find that atlanta is almost unbeatable at home. all other angles indicate baltimore to win a tight one. ravens 8-0L8,4-0L4A. falcons 0-12 home following BB SU wins. ravens 20 - falcons 19.

the better team on both sides of the ball r the ravens. Atlanta hasn't proven to me that they're ready to step up with the bigboys. ravens need to keep pace with pitty. ravens win by at least 4 pts! g.luck

This is a hard game to pick. I think it will be a very close game tonight, which team have the ball last will win. I like the under. BalT. defense will be better now with ED REED back tonight. ATL Defense have been soft lately, They Let TB, and Cin, scored a combined of 55 points the last 2 game. Early lean on BALT. I will wait and see how the line will moves. then I wll make my pick.

Very hard game to call.  As far as over/under, Both Defs have been somewhat vulnerable last few weeks.  Teams with below average Offenses are putting up points on both teams. Yet Balt and Atlanta have 2 very good offenses that can score.  Plus the biggest thing is both teams have had short rest and advantage usually goes to Offense. Just watching TV and coaches said guys don't usually come back to practice until Thursday but yet they have to be ready to play tonight.  Mentally its more challenging for Defs.  Game is in a dome on turf which makes offenses a bit faster. I believe Baltimore hasn't allowed a 100 yd rusher yet.  If they stack box for Turner. Ryan gonna have to throw often and White is playing.  Baltimore can obviously run ball but Atlanta corners are not that strong and Flacco will throw to his numerous options plus screens to Rice which they have starting doing. Lastly, I don't post all that much but after being a avid reader for years it seems every time the majority is on something,(in this case the UNDER) it always seems to go the other way.  Just weird!!  Good luck to all in which ever way you choose!!

not sayin atlanta is going to win, but you are a fool if you think they don't score at least 17 points and make baltimore sweat this game somewhat
