you mean the defense they had before they brought in Aqib Talib at CB and moved over McCourty to free safety? Im not saying they are a shut down unit by any means but they are markedly better since their first meeting, if anything the game hinges on flacco...if he has a good to great game he can keep the ravens in it, if not the Pats are going to the superbowl

LOL I knew I'd get some critisicm on that. People seem to think Flacco is a bad QB but I guess I just have an "eye" for these types of things. He is simply the most explosive, that's the best word I can think of. He seems to be a little inconsistent sometimes, but when he throws the hail marys he's usually dead on.

This is the same setup when they played Denver % wise....
Otherwise Vegas/Denver threw that game or Balt won su....
Which ever way....Balt won....n the public all over them again.....kinda makes me wonder....

Too many points.

Nothing about past history between these teams, Flacco's recent consistency and Ray Rice's tendency to scorch New England suggests this is more than a one score contest.

Baltimore might even be ready to win this game.

Getting more than a touchdown, I'll take the points.

I don't see either team lighting any torches against the other. However I do see a Ravens defense vs. a Patriot offense type of game. Too much road time for Balty might be their undoing, and a Gronkless Pat team will cause a few mistakes for Brady. Still New England should pull this off by 10--just my thoughts..

I never knew that New England had defense. They ranked 29th in psssing defense! Hmmm if that's improvement they are in trouble! People talk bad about the Ravens defense and they have ranked in the middle of the pack in all statistics.

NE -8 (1.5 units) - most have made the points regarding Bellicek not letting off the gas and Brady's dominance, and fatigue factor of Baltimore coming from high altitude. ..i siding with QB with the greatest Passing Rating Differential in the playoffs.  Will the emotional factor carry Ray Lewis in his last ride in the NFL? Will the Ravens win against a weak Patriot Defense? perhaps, but not likely.  Let the Games Begin!

im up here in Maine. today is cloudy and warm.supposed to get windy and cool here tonight. gust up to 40+ winds.. just an interesting stat for ya..! Pats have not  beaten Bal. by more then 6pts. since 2007...

Look at the Pats weak behind schedule not wonder their stats are inflated. With big offensive numbers. Take a hard look and when they played anyone with any defense they lost. San Fran , Seattle.Baltimore

The teams they played are a joke, Jets, Dolphins, Titans, Indy, STL, Denver early in the season was not that good.

BALT +9.5 is the play

Anybody think this is going to be a blow out is crazy.

Look at the Pats weak schedule no wonder their stats are inflated. With big offensive numbers. Take a hard look and when they played anyone with any defense they lost. San Fran , Seattle.Baltimore

The teams they played are a joke, Jets, Dolphins, Titans, Indy, STL, Denver early in the season was not that good.

Anybody think this is going to be a blow out is crazy.

In Boston mass ...45min from foxboro .... Partly cloudy football weather but wind will have an effect on the passing game ... It's pretty windy ...

Way to much LOVE for Baltimore, they really did not win that game last week rather Denver lost that game with piss poor coaching, no balls, and 2 big mistakes in OT. The Bill & Tom show will win and cover with no problem. 38-28

I say the same thing! Afc west sux!  Weak schedule, equates to inflated stats. Yes they have a great coach and qb but, it surely won't be a cakewalk. Go Ravens!
