This should be a dandy game.  I see the Ravens playing with more desparation than the Giants in this one.  It's strength vs strength in the run game as the Giants hold the #1 rush offense going against the #1 rush defense of the Ravens.  Joe Flaco has been impressive lately and has not thrown a pick in the Ravens 4 game win streak.  With Samare Rolle back now for the Ravens things could get ugly for Eli if the Ravens pass rush gets to him early and often in this game.  If the Ravens can contain Jacobs, this one will come down to Eli.  This is also a big game for the AFC North since Pittsburgh has no walk in the park this weekend with the Chargers.  I like the Ravens at +6.5 here!

Ravens have come out of nowhere and started putting points on the board. I don't bet on Eli, it's the whole deer in the headlights thing, but I'm certainly liking the OVER!

By now you'll just have to except that's the way he looks. Who do you trust to get points when they have to? Who has played in more pressure games? When the Eagles scored first, i liked the way the Giants just went down the field and scored. Giants can cover -6.5.

Spytheweb- Baltimore did beat the likes of Cleveland, something NY did not do. This will be the best defense and hardest hitting defense Eli and the Giants see all year. Both teams need to keep it on the ground or your going to see a lot of turnovers. Eli has a weak arm and Balt gives up 60 yards on the ground. Sounds like a bad combo to me.

Ravens are one a a probably 3 teams than can stuff Giants on the ground. Their penetration will not allow Jacobs to get momentum like normal. Eli will do some damage but not a ton. Giants also have a good D and will be facing a worse offense. Flacco has been careful with the ball however, he knows how to manage game. No way there are 6 TDs scored in this game.

Thank you - C'mon people, have the Ravens let you down this year so far? NO!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they might have this game outright..... Eli gets scared over aggressive defenses - all it takes is one mis-step in this game..... Go Ravens!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is gonna be goooooooood! I can't wait.

I think the match up is fairly even and even though the Ravens are my boys I worry about 2 major things.

#1. If Derrick Mason (Flacco's favorite target) doesn't play I don't see much movement down field except in small increments with the rush. If you ask me he will play though. He dislocated his shoulder in beginning of last game and after a cortizone shot returned in the same game to make (I believe) something like 40 yards.

#2. Ravens are on 3rd straight road game which historically is tough for any team.

I have faith in Flacco. The man seriously does not get ruffled. And if he can survive the stress of Pittts at Heinz field, he can handle Giants at home.

I don't see the Ravens loosing by MORE than a touchdown, but the line at 7 scares me.

I BELIEVE so I'm taking my birds this week again (haven't failed me yet), but I will be

I think I'll stay away from this one.  My early lean was Baltimore, but this is the Ravens third road game in a row.

            This game is harder to pick than it looks in my opinion.  I know the Ravens have the best run D in the NFL but I think Ward and Jacobs are hard to stop no matter what D is on the field.  I think this game will come down to which QB makes the least amount of mistakes as I thik both D's are quite even.  Personally I'll take Eli over rookie Flacco.  I think the Giants might be the play here.  I'm not sure if I'll take it yet though.  I would love to hear some info on this game if anybody has some.

As earlier stated, I just see "Crybaby" Manning getting stuffed this game - There ain't gonna be no Giants rush against this Baltimore "D", so play how you will - I still say the +6.5 points are a bonus and the Giants have their asses handed to them, but that's just one man's opinion.....

Giants handled the Steelers #1 defense on the road, they can handle the Ravens D at home.
 
I can see Flacco finally having a bad game here or he's not on the field much because the Giants have controlled the clock.

Actually, I think Baltimore holds the record (or is close) for best Offensive Time on the Field. an average of somewhere around 33mins per game.

It's crazy. Almost every situation counter-balances itself.
Everything NY is good at Ravens stuff, and vice versa.

I think first to score up more than 7 wins.

It's gonna be brutal.
Baltimore already has the most players on IR in the league.
They can't afford to lose any more.

Consider ST plays. The Giants punter putting it inside the 20, and Hixon returning punts, had a TD called back on a questionable hold. If Ravens fall behind can they keep up? Plus in the 4th quarter what happens when the Giants put in a fresh Bradshaw?

Giants have 3 backs who average over 5 ypc so it's going to be a long day for the defense. When the "D" starts to look into the backfield, play action, so it works both ways. Maybe each team cancels each other's run game and now it comes down to QBs, who do you trust to win the game for you? Manning or Flacco?
