Baltimore at Pittsburgh (01/15/2011)

This game is usually decided by  3 points or less, so will go with Balt  + 3.5...they have played many of their games in overtime as well which usually means 3 points either way

another thing to think about is taking balt +3.5 right now and hoping it will go down by game time to pitt -2 or - 2.5, if not buy it down to pitt -2.5 and middle the game at:

balt +3.5

pitt -2.5

....this game could very well have pitt winning by 3 for a good middle

To all my baltimore backers out there let me say first that the odds of the ravens losing by two or one is unlikely from a statistical standpoint so by taking the ravens at +3 you really are hoping for a push or a win. And if you think theyre gonna win str8 up like i do, why wouldnt u just take the ml +155?

Dont even start with your +3.5 bullshit. Ive checked every single site and with the exception of vegas, pinnacle.com, and the covers league contest there is no site out there with +3.5. Ya if i saw em at +3.5 id like it too but thats not the reality of the situation. If you;re gonna post +3.5 go ahead and post the site that you got it from so I can see that you're not a lil bitch.

To the game...Ray lewis said it best: Mendenhall gonna hit the A gap im gonna hit the A gap and ill see him there. With that being said he is a one dimensional runner, up the gut. Without a solid running attack its gonna force big ben to make some plays against the stout baltimore secondary, and with some forced throws theres gonna be some turnovers. Unlike mendenhall ray rice is versatile, he can run to the outside, and is one of the most dangerous check-downs in the league. The difference maker is gonna be boldin at the line of scrimmage who is going to be a physical specimen for any cb in this one. X-factor to todd heap over the middle as hes become a huge target for flacco in recent outings. Couple more brief points to bring up. Without Polamalu the steelers d is a below average group and even with him in there he is less than 100% with an achilles/ankle injury and it could play a huge role in this one. Ed Reed and the D will be possessed out there against big ben and I see more than one turnover and a defensive touchdown in this one...

only reason i decided to post tonight a few times is cause i had surgery today with a 7 day hospital stay and am just bored out of my mind...going back to poker, if u ever decide to change your mind, leave me a message, 2x a year we have some of the pros play in some of our bigger buy-ins (in October, Layne Flack, Hevad Kahn, David Williams, and Lee Childs was there) the next time they will be there is in june (heard a rumor, the guy that runs this game is looking to get Ivey to play there...not too confident it will happen though)

of course a defensive battlle but they will air out the ball on both sides , Dynamic TD;s will be made , because neither side will be able to run the ball. I tend to like the over , but i  wouldnt count on it.

i know this should be a slug fest, along with  cold weather and past indicators definately point to a under, with that said...  is a 21 to 17 game out of the question. vegas hopes not.
