I know you have been around for quite awhile, because I always read your posts. You do a great job capping games. You faded off for awhile but I've noticed youv'e been posting more recently.
GL on todays games nic-lo and fading me on this one might be the way to go lol Time for a break anyway, I just might head down to the bluegrass state to catch the Breeders cup live and in color.
Adios my friend.

After coming up short against one contender, Buffalo gets a crack at another when they play the surprising Chiefs.
Poor Bills fans. Poor, poor, Bills fans. After a 0-5 start to the season, last Sunday they traveled to Baltimore to face an angry and talented Ravens team. The Bills were nearly a two-touchdown underdog, and there were plenty of reasons to think that Baltimore would cover. They had plenty of motivation coming off a tough loss against the Patriots, and their incomparable safety Ed Reed was making his season debut. But Chan Gailey’s bunch came out blazing, jumping out to a 24-10 lead with five minutes left in the first half. After the Ravens responded with a field goal shortly before the half, it was inevitable that the first half would end 24-13 in Buffalo's favor.
Of course, when things seem too good to be true for the Bills, they probably are. On the ensuing kickoff, C.J. Spiller fumbled the ball and gave Baltimore excellent field position. Joe Flacco cashed in with a TD pass to Todd Heap, instantly shifting the momentum. The Ravens carried this through the third quarter with two more touchdowns, and appeared to have the game in hand with a 34-24 lead after three quarters. Game over, right? Wrong. Buffalo scored ten points in the fourth, including a 50-yard field goal by Ryan Lindell with four seconds left to send it to overtime. But on their first possession of overtime, tight end Shawn Nelson was stripped by Ray Lewis. A Buffalo penalty put Baltimore in field goal range, and Billy Cundiff came through
One positive the Bills can take from this game was the continued stellar play of Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ed Reed picked him off twice (which he does against a lot of quarterbacks), but he added four touchdowns and 382 yards. Fitzpatrick has the 2nd highest quarterback rating in the league behind Peyton Manning. Receiver Steve Johnson stepped up with 158 yards to complement Lee Evans.
This week they have to take their miseries to Arrowhead Stadium, where the AFC-West leaders await. The Chiefs snapped their two game winning streak last week by thumping Jacksonville 42-20. With David Garrard out for the Jaguars, back-up Todd Bauman played decent for most of the game. His touchdown pass to Mike Sims-Walker cut the KC lead to 21-20 early in the third quarter. The momentum was short-lived, as Bauman threw a pass a few minutes later that linebacker Derrick Johnson returned for a touchdown.
The Chiefs never looked back from there. The offense was led by their tantalizing tandem in the backfield. Thomas Jones (125 yards) and Jamaal Charles (71 yards) terrorized the hapless Jacksonville defense. With a dominant rushing attack, Matt Cassel had to drop back only 18 times, but he took advantage of his opportunities- he completed 13 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns, both to Dwayne Bowe. Bowe has really stepped up the last two games after a poor performance in Indianapolis posting 189 yards and four touchdowns.
Kansas City is 3-0 at home, winning by an average of 17 points a game. They have blown out the two bad teams they have played at home, and I do not expect this game to be much different. Buffalo fields the worst run defense in the NFL, which is bad news when facing a Chiefs team that has rushed for more than 200 yards in three of their last four games. The way Fitzpatrick is playing, Buffalo could put up some points. However, it will not matter if they Bills defense cannot get off the field. I see Buffalo falling back a little after their near victory over Baltimore. The thing I'm worried about here is a garbage touchdown at the end of the game to get the backdoor cover. Otherwise, I will take the improved Chiefs to cover behind their terrific home crowd.
