Chicago at Miami (11/18/2010)

Our starting center Berger is out for this one and being replaced by Proctor who actually came in late to take over for Berger in the Titans game. The upside on that is that Thigpen and Proctor has been handling the snaps together since training camp so the chemistry is there.

Tyler is starting today so I just hope for the best that we can pull this one out. I don't have great faith in him but I do like his mobility. He actually made all state in high school as a TE and I read that he has great hands to catch the ball so I wouldn't be surprised if we actually use him as a receiver in the wildcat tonight. He did display how mobile he is during his time in KC and showed flashes of it as well we he came into the Titans game.

 Most people would see this as the 3rd string qb having only 3 days to practice for this one but this is his second year with the Dolphins so it's not like he needs to learn the system. I personally feel that it is an advantage to us as the Bears defense only had 3 days to watch film on Thigpen and probably the majority of that  film was while he was still in KC.

We just need to hope for the best tonight brother so...

Hate to say it but they have the QB advantage....also Cutler is beginning to understand the capabilities of the cast around him and uses them accordingly....Forte is very good out of the backfield and can be very lethal....the receiving core is very fast which brings coverage down the field for under passes to Olsen or Forte.....Defensively Chicago has played pretty good, a team with good linebackers can keep the dolphins running attack at bay and that is whay the dolphins will depend on...Short week with your 3rd String QB starting (they don't want to pass cause if Peppers kills him Patrick Ramsey starts

Culter is long over due for one of his CLUNKER games and there is still a chance that Henne might play he is still listed as doubtful but he is one tough guy and could still play.  Henne or not the i still think Phins pull this one off.GLA

I have never seen so much rationalization trying to make a 3rd string QB situation seem like it will have the advantage over a VERY TOUGH defense.  Good luck with that.

Well that's why I stated "most" people will see it that way...I'm not talking about Pat white or John Beck coming in to start in this one...now that's a different story.

I also stated that I didn't have much faith in Thigpen but I think most BIG Dolphin fans such as I would agree with me when I say that Thigpen might be an upgrade over Henne

Henne in Miami is known as Captain checkdown...Thigpen on the other hand is mobile and has an arm. I mean I like Henne but I feel personally that Thigpen has more confidence in his passing than Henne does. Once Henne works on that he will be fine.

Anyway I'm not saying the Dolphins will win this one. I just hope they do. All I was trying to say was that don't count them out due to Thigpen being the 3rd string qb.

I lost some cash the other day on Temple and their pretty solid 18th ranked defense...that defense got beat by an Ohio QB playing with 1 good eye in Boo Jackson ...so anything can happen.

I think back to the first 3 or 4 games the Bears played where I remember alot of folks saying the Bears are for real. I truly believe this will be one of those games again on MNF. Cutler will step it up tonight soley based on the big lights and nationwide coverage. He is inconsistent although he's had more time to to learn the systems being the starting QB all season. As Miami's on their 3rd string QB with Thigpen. It's irrelavent how talented he is, if now the team haS to get used to another play caller, another passer and another scrambler. All these mechanics play a big part in how the rest of the team responds or doesn't!

Cameron Wake won't be enough pressure against Cutler as opposed to Urlacher, Peppers and Briggs who will have much more of a presence on a consistent basis attacking an strugling O line, still trying to feel out how Thigpen reacts to being thrown in again.

Look for Cut-man to have a big night surprising all of us as well as undirected Dolphin squad.

Bears take this battle going OVER  in MNF fashion!!
