If it goes like it has for both of these teams, the Jets will make a solid showing on MNF, OAK played Patriots tough so I won't take nothing away from NYJ for their performance versus OAK, I think JETS barely cover this tonight, as always I appreciate the views in this forum

Going against the public as well and taking the Jets. They are at home. Bounce back game. It's hard to win back to back road games. How long can Cutler stay in the game?

First . Where is the total at 38.5? I have it showing 45 now, and I took it at 44.5 earlier today for the over

Second the reason I took the over here is the weapons on both sides on the offensive side. I watched this Jets team since early training camp in Cortland and I think they can put up some points. As for the Bears based off what I saw last week from a banged up squad I think we will see some points from them as well. Looking at a game much like Jets /GB from last week

Final Score Jets 31 Bears 28 .

Your point Stumpmaker is well taken about Cutlers sore ribs.

I have broken my ribs on several occassions,and it is extremely uncomfortable,but the difference between us having sore ribs,and the pros,is,we get to sit on the couch all day and watch TV because we can't move or breath,but the pros are getting constant treatment by their medical staff,to get them game ready as possible.

Yes,it can be a problem for the QB to throw the ball,but he will have protective pads on those ribs to hopefully keep him from further damage. With that being said,even if Cutler didin't have sore ribs,I still liked the Jets to win and cover this game.

I think the better defense wins this game.. Cutler is due for one of those 3 INT games.. Jets -2.5.. Under 45.. Chicago TT under 21..

Say what you want about Rex Ryan, or even Geno Smith at QB, the one thing the Jets are good at is defense - particularly stuffing the run (which they currently rank #1 in the league at).

Now, you stop the run, and put it all on the back of "The Vanderbilt Mannequin"??? If this were Brady, Brees, either Manning, Rivers, or even Flacco, Roethlisberger or Luck, I'd put the line at 9.5, because they're going to just pick you apart. But this is Cutler we're talking about. CUTLER!!!! Niners made him look good last week, too good. Bills beat 'em on the road, and their "D" isn't half as good as the Jets..... First, let me say from reading other posts, You guys may have a hard time taking me serious since I refuse to play the games at covers but I am busy making money and keeping a lower profile. So be your own judge about my posts. I have been playing since 1996, took my lumps before I learned how to win. First, let me say that as a gambler everyone should look at single game nights differently, as all the money is on one game instead of spread out over multiple games. Here are the facts and stats. The bears are tough on Monday night, the favorite is 4-5 ats on single games (example Thur, Sun night and monday night games). The interleague games favorite is 7-7-1, 2-1 this week. I was on Pitt hard and if I lost planned to double up on Chic. Since I won with pitt, I am not taking either side tonight. Tursday night games, favorite is 3-0 ats, Sunday night fav 0-3, and Monday fav is 1-2 with tonights game to play. Now the over is 22-25 for the year and on primetime games the over is 7-2. Just dropping some stats, I have 2 winners for this Thursday night so I will say my money for then but for the gamblers that must throw a buck, I will give a guess on this one bears and under. good luck to all

this didn't sound as bad in my head but after reading it I noticed it sounds retarded, my point was wait and their are better plays.

Just fyi the line on this game yesterday at Betus was jets-3 -100 and money line was -140....Bears +3 -125 and money line was +120.

I just looked at the lines at both books and Betus has been going as low as jets-1 and back to -2 money line is now -130 bears +110....some crazy moves on this game to be careful of.....sportsbook.ag has jets-1.5 -105 and Bears +1.5 -115 money line is jets -115 and Bears -105.........anyone have thoughts on these moves.

My logic on the game says this: Jets have a hell of a run-game and rush defense. Bears have terrible rush offense and defense.

I doubt Bears will try to run. Cutler will take 1 or 2 huge hits from the Jets defense and game is over. I'm looking for Jets to win by 10+.

Fade the public. Similar consensuses this week have killed the favorites (St Louis Cardinals vs Phillies last night, Giants, Carolina Panthers... all the favorite got his hard this week both on Moneyline and ATS).

34-21 Jets win.

I was crap picking NFL this week. Don't follow me....I took Chicago (half) +1, Chicago game +2, and Over 45. My bookie was happy to see some of "their" money returned this week!
