I don't care about what hester did in the past, nor do I care what the iggles ATS is in the past - it means nothing.  Tonight is a new year with new players and a new situation.

Looking to end a good week on a high note - O 47, no side play.  I see the Bears getting 17, eagles 28, and i see it more likely they go over that than under, and i see the over as more likely than the bears covering. People talk about how bad Cutler is, and rightly so, but he is capable of decent ball once in awhile.  He has gotten to a conference title game, headache aside, and that is something Schaub and Ryan and many other little darlings can't say.  The overrated guy on that team is Urlacher.  Ever since I saw Bettis run right over him like a man against a child in a big game in December of 2005, I knew he was all ESPN hype.    GLA

I took Philly in a two team teaser Philly -2.  and San diego minus a half point. Easiest bet all week.

Joe, you make a couple of good points. Last week was a do or die situation for Philly. Sunday Night Game, Bye Week, and rival cowboys (at least a rivalry in philly eyes).

The big question about last week's game was why Dallas didn't run Demarco Murry more. Made no sense. The Bears WILL run Forte.

Romo isn't the great quarterback we were led to believe. Cutler can zip the ball, but how well the Bears' O-Line plays is the unknown.


Bears coming off a bye a playing the cover two, might be able to keep the game tight, if the front seven contains the run. Vicke isn't a great passer.

The Eagles weakness during the earlier games was covering the backs out of the backfield. So, when comparing the Bears games with the Cowboys' game, seems like the game could be close, especially when you factor in the kicking game...Robbie Gold is much better than our new kicker, and everyone is upset that they got rid o Akers, who is having another great season in San Fran.

Coaching? Not impressed by Reid or Smith....

If the Bears score an early touchdown, that's a 16-point hole.

I don't know how Vegas and the books work and how they try to lure betters to one side or another. I always thought (excuse my naivete) they tried to balance the betting to capture the vig....

Some guy made a post the other day saying, "I always go with the better team." I liked that...WHO WOULD YOU SAY IS THE BETTER TEAM TONIGHT....

I agree with you 100%...  (the bolded part lol)

most of the games ATS were in Chicago.... you really have to throw those out because this game is in Philly and they havn't played there since 07.....

I do think Hester is a factor you have to account for..... the guy has big games in primetime....

Philly's defense is awful.... they may be able to beat a passing team like the Cowboys with their allstar corners but against the run they are terrible... I don't know what the stats say im judging by what I've seen....

As for Cutler.... I was impressed by the game he had against the Lions.... that Detroit front was walking all over da bears oline and Cutler took a beating but had a great night.... his numbers did no justice to how well he played but he was 28 for 38 249 1 td no INTS and he had NO TIME at all....

Bears oline is terrible but Philly front 7 is nothing like Det's..... I'm expecting to see a great run/screen game from CHI....


and Vick vs. the cover 2 is not impressive.... look it up....

Michael Vick is the most overrated QB, if not player, in the NFL.  He has won absolutely nothing.  In fact, his entire career has been injury after injury.  Unbelievable hype around this guy...he's really not that good.  Throws too many interceptions, makes poor running choices at the wrong time and most importantly, he consistently gets hurt. 

Look for Vick to by helped off the field once again tonight. Hype hype hype job once again !

The Cowgirls had a better defense than the Bears. But they gave up 34 points. The run aint such a problem for the Eagles as they made adjustments on the defense.  Teased the Eagles and SD for thursday.

Eagles and the Under. Cutler will be running for his life all night. The Bears O line will not be able to stop the Rush. Pains me to say it but the Eagles cover. I am not betting the game just saying.

If you freaking eat meat, you are an animal killer. SO WHAT? STFU!! Now.... This line is too fishy.. Can someone explain why Philly is the favorite here? and by 9 at that? Took Tenn and lost.. Taking CHICAGO here.. Chicago defense will keep it close.. Hopefully Forte can help the passing plays..
