where you at atlanta falcons? I hope you didn't blow too much of your wad on that eagles beatdown? Things that came from that matchup:
kevin kolb >>> matt ryan lesean mccoy == michael turner Jeremy maclin >>> falcons receivers eagle Defense >>> falcons defense
don't say i didn't try to warn you off your homerism. I thought I would be joining you here on the falcons, but the way things are shaping up, the bengals secondary could expose ryan again this week. May not put my money on the table here, but the spread sure suggests to me that the bengals cover.

I had a nice little write up but Covers went crazy for a few minutes when I hit submit and it never got through. Not going through all that again so here it is...
I'll avoid a side but if I had to pick a selection it would be Under 42.5 which is reasonable considering these two teams lately.
Hope it works this time.

ATL will bounce back and make things right CINN is done for I wouldn't put anything on Carson Palmer to cover or beat a ATL team that just got torched. ATL LARGE safe money here.

so i'm not ready to put my money on palmer yet either, but despite my instinctive logic, the spread has me thinking the bengals cover or win SU. So here's my preliminary support logic...
cincy has a very good defense, probably better than the falcons, but especially in the secondary where they have two of the best corner backs in the game that can be murderous on QBs (just as flacco). Matt ryan looked terrible against a solid secondary in philly and it just doesn't get better for him here.
cincy also has one of the best offensive lines in the game, ranking 5th and 8th at run and pass blocking respectively (atlanta is 11th and 14th for comparison)
the problem that i'm running into here is that the falcons are very stout against the run, meaning that it would be on palmer to run game and that's something i just have no faith in. He has the weapons, he has the time, but he still just sucks.
That's where i stop. I won't bet it if i can't reason through it, but cincy has my attention here.

worth noting is that the falcons secondary which was already 25th in the league in yards allowed despite only facing 2 legitimate QBs (brees and kolb) the other QBs they've faced: dennis dixon, derrick anderson, alex smith and the dangerous tandem of seneca wallace and jake delhomme (and wallace probably could have won that game) telling me that the 25th is a relevant ranking AND they just lost their top cornerback, dunta robinson to that hit on desean jackson. Hard not to think that even carson palmer with weapons is better than that foursome and can get away with enough to let the work of his cornerbacks on matt ryan stand

Kolb torched the ATL secondary, and did it without D-Jax for just about the whole game. Palmer should have problem doing the same especially coming out of the bye; T.O and Ocho should be able to run wild through that secondary. I'll take the points.

seems like a low number for the falcons and thats why the bengals win. as a long time bengal viewer this is their best spot to be in. bengals 27 - falcons 17

Does everyone realize the Falcons and Matt Ryan are a totally different team at home?
Matt Ryan is 15-1 at home for his career and his QB rating is much higher at home. Last week in Philly is not an indicator of what he will do this week.
Falcons ML and ATS. This will be a blowout.

I'm jumpin' off the ATL stock cuzz it's been priced high since start of season. But in no way do i jump on Cincy as long as Carson Palmer is at QB cuzz he's simply throwing junk out there on the field these days. Cincy can't afford to lose another game and may play good defense, but I can't afford to bet on the likes of Carson Palmer.
I'm stayin away. I like the Under though
